We grabbled Tulsa at -13.5 Tulane returns 6 starters, but 2 of those are suspended for the first two games. They have also lost two more reserves on their defensive two deep chart. Tulane can't afford to take hits like that. Tulsa has won and convered the 4 meetings that these two teeams have had, since the C-USA expanded back in 2005.
For the most part, I pool my gaming monies with several others. We select our games, select the best lines we can get (almost exclusively in Las Vegas) and go from there. Years ago, when we all came together to form this little partnership, we found out that most of us thought very much alike when it came to wagering on football. Wagering one large amount, as a group, has it's advantages. We are eligable to wager on what Vegas calls the "lead lines". Those are the lines that first come out at the Hilton, on Sunday afternoon, for the following weeks games. While not a major advantage, it does help, and in a game where 2-3% can determine a winning or losing season, we will take all the help we can get.
Tulane's new defensive coordinator has a less than stellar resume - last year at Ohio on the D-line, and before that at New Mexico State and Colorado State - and this guy has the monumental task of reshaping a Wave defense that allowed more than 35 ppg last year into a unit more equipped to deal with the CUSA spread offenses.
And the injuries and off the field discipline problems cited by BigdaddyQH above and its hard to argue against a play on Tulsa. That said, the GH have never been as dominant on the road as they have been at home.
