They are hitting the ball in the gaps, to the track almost every time, just everything is getting caught, 3 innings to go, we are sure to scratch a few runs shortly.

Dude, this is college baseball. Not the Major Leagues. In college a game can swing very quickly, you saw that in the Gator game yesterday. Gators up 6-1, almost 10-1, and Tennessee turned it around quick in 1 inning.
This pitcher isn't dominating like the boxscore and score suggests. I just saw Tulane get good barrel on 3 straight solid line/drives to the outfield. This guy isnt striking people out left and right, and he's not unhittable, the balls are just going right at people right now.
I'm telling you, I've seen this situation a million times. This is a 1 run game, not a 8 run game, how can you say they have no chance?

Brock, most of those balls are just routine flyballs,Tulane to this point has no clue how to hit this guy

I also paid a heavy price on Tulane. In retrospect, this had all the makings of a classic trap game. The books must be overjoyed. They now have about a 70% chance of winning this game, where all the players are on one side and paid heavy juice as well.

Owings is being squeezed a bit out there. I've seen 3 pitches that were borderline and he hasn't gotten the benefit on any of them.

I hope you are right Box but I feel all the momentum is on or st and no fire on the Tulane side @ all. Just my observation

We are now down to our last 9 outs and need a miracle. Tulane is being completely dominated by the supposedly weak OSU pitcher.

No doubt slayer. . .with aluminum bats, there is NO safe lead especially just a lead of 1 run. Had the rf not made that diving play, I would be worried. Bottom of the 7th will be the inning for Tulane.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Nobody ever said the OSU pitcher was weak. I said in my thread he has been very good this year.

We don't need a miracle. Tulane bats the meat of their order next inning and the top of their order in the 9th. This guy will either get tired or they will bring in someone from the bullpen. It takes 1-2 swings of the bat to tie this up. Tulane has that in them, theyve been hitting this guy they just arent falling right now. No need to hit the panic button.

yes, plenty of time left.

now lets go TULANE BATS.....one or two hits and we very well could get out to a 1 or 2 run lead......

anyone remember the Texas/Ole Miss game a few days ago? EXACT thing happened.......

Yes I agree with Box...3 innings is plenty of time to score a run or two...

By now the Tulane batters have to know Nickerson's pitches, he has not thrown anything different and has done the same to almost every batter...

Tulane will not let Ore St. win on a 1st inning fielder's choice run....
