11-5 last 16 games. starting a new week today. collected money again from my books. hope to start this week off to a good start...will include money amounts this week....

LAL @ NO:

THE Lakers are playing their 4th road game in a row here. They are one of the WORST teams ATS. Lost their last 10 vs. the spread. Now they find themselves as an underdog vs. a NO team that has won 4 straight. This is only the 2nd time the lakers have been an underdog, with the only other time when they played this same NO team and won straight up.

NO won their last 4 games but none in double digits. NO offense has been struggling of late. The Lakers are also struggling of late but seem to have put things together in that second half of the memphis game.

In the first prior meeting, the Lakers dominated the first half. chris paul scored 16 of his 30 points in the fourth, and David West also had a good game. Kobe had a bad game from the field, but the Lakers was still able to pull out the victory rather easily. The Lakers were coming off a back to back game the first time they played, and similarly, will be playing in a back to back game as they visit NO again.

The Lakers should reach the century mark in this game, and the hornets will score in the 90s. The total will be close, but I see the Lakers winning this game straight up.

Denver @ POrtland

Denver coming off a big win over this portland team just last nite without Carmelo. Neither team shot very well in this game. Denver averages close to 100 points a game on the road, but without melo, does that help or hurt their chances of scoring??? JR smith can light it up when he is on, but will he be on tonite on a back to back?

Portland plays a lot better at home, scoring more than 100 points in their last 6 home games. Denver on the road at portland has actually done pretty well scoring wise. I think in front of their home fans, Roy will have a much better game than last nite, and this portland team should break the 100 point mark again here.

Denver will have their second game here without Melo and should have their offense flowing a little bit better than last nite. They too could reach the century mark here in Portland also.

NJ @ INDIANA:

NJ heads back on the road with an impressive 8-4 record. They are coming off an embarrassing loss to Houston last nite, with both Carter and Harris struggling to score. NJ has been a very inconsistent team.

Indiana is still short handed with the Flu bug going around. Surprisingly, they have been doing well without some of their key starters. However, they only own a 6-6 record at home. In their two previous meetings, Indiana has dominated this NJ team. But that was without Harris.

Now with Harris back, and NJ's two superstars coming off an OFF game, I see both of them getting back on track vs an Indiana defense that gives up over 100 points a game. I dont see the Indiana players at fulll strength yet and will lapse in guarding these two superstars.

UTAH @ BUCKS:

Utah has dominated this series in the past winning their last 8 games vs. this bucks team. This is their 5th road game going 2-2 thus far. In their first matchup, williams didnt play but boozer did and they won by 11 at home. Now they will be without boozer who scored 20 in that game and faces a hot bucks team

The BUCKS have blown out their last 2 opponents and yes, they were inferior opponents in the knicks and clippers. Now is the real test. Are they for real? Can they finally break their 8 game losing streak vs. the Jazz? This will be their best chance to do so. The Bucks have a very balanced attack on offense and behind their home crowd, I see them pulling out a victory here.

If the Jazz gets down early, they will not have the energy to fight back in this one.
