Over 8.5 Milw/Pitt
Im aware that historically the under is a good play between these clubs.Im also aware statistically Wally Bell leans to the under as well. However Santos is not very good IMO (4-13 last year w/ 4.57 era) and his pring training didnt go too well (0-2 6.27 era...including a 12 hit barrage on his final ST start.Milw may not be the NYY or Red Sox with the bats but that may not matter against Pittsburgh.Santos is backed up by an unimpressive BP and Id imagine unless hes pitching very well he'll be on a pitchcount.Capuano by all accounts had a good year last year....however the folks that make up the Pirate lineup tonight have hit .333 vs him and his record careerwise facing Pitt is not very good.In spring training he did not fare much better than Santos giving up 14 runs in 17 ip.
The roof should be closed as it is a little chilly tonight.
Lots of trends speak to the under but the line is 9 in some spots.....smells fishy.
YTD: 1-3 (-2.23)
