928 ANA -1.5 (+145) vs 927 SEA
Analysis:
AGAIN BROKE THIS SELECTION INTO PLAYS.
SEA: LHP Ryan Feierabend (2007 debut) vs. LAA: RHP Ervin Santana (3-6, 6.00 ERA)
Despite yesterdays brain fart, the Angels have dominated head to head play so far (5-2, +$295) and after watching them demolish the first place Dodgers and the Yankees its clear they are playing as well as any team in baseball (27-18, +$635) and (8-2 +$725 over their past 10 averaging 5.6 runs over that span). Meanwhile, despite yesterdays result, coming into this series the Mariners are only averaging 4.3 runs per game vs. right-handers (-$460) in all spots. This is not good news for rookie left-hander Ryan Feierabend who has never faced the Angels and seeks his first career victory. Feierabend comes to the Seattle rotation fresh from Triple-A Tacoma, where he posted a 2-2 record and 3.86 ERA in 10 starts. In his career, he has a losing 30-31 career Minor Leagues with a rather high 3.87 ERA for that setting. Meanwhile, right-hander Ervin Santana returns to Angel Stadium looking to continue the dominance at home that has defined his career. Santanais 3-1 with a 2.33 ERA in Anaheim this year and is an equally impressive 22-6 in his career at Angel Stadium. LAs impressive 5 runs per game against left-handers at home cements it.
Verdict: Seattle 2, LA Angles 6

ARI: RHP Micah Owings (3-1, 4.10 ERA) vs. PHI: RHP Jon Lieber (2-2, 3.45)
When you right your right. Yesterday, I correctly predicted that Philadelphia would be in for a bit of a letdown after absolutely pounding their division rival Atlanta at Turner Field over the weekend. But tonight, we have a completely different situational spot altogether. Yes, the Diamondbacks have now taken 3 out of 4 so far this season, but (despite yesterdays relapse) the Phillies have been coming on strong in recent days (6-4, +$160 last 10 days averaging an impressive 5.6cruns per game). As expected, the Phillies struggled against the left-hander last night, but tonight they get to take their hacks against rookie right-hander Micah Owings who is coming off the best start of his brief Major League career, throwing his first complete-game victory in a 9-1 win over Houston on Thursday. Owings' nine-hit, eight-strikeout performance enabled his ERA to plummet from 23.62 to 4.10. But in order to do that, he threw a career-high 118 pitches in the game so it will be interesting to see if his stamina will be there tonight. Unfortunately for Owings, he has to pitch against a Phillies club that has destroyed right-handers at home/night games where they are 8-3 (+$420), with an equally impressive 5.9 runs per game in those contests. In contrast, Arizona has lost money on the road in night games -$30 averaging just 3.9 runs per game and despite some recent pitching success, their starters ERA over 4.20 over the last 10 days is nothing to be too concerned about. Arizona won last night, and they will be lucky to salvage a win in any of the two remaining night games. Since this game is a little chalky for my liking let split out bet and also take a shot at the run line.
Verdict: Arizona 2, Philadelphia 7

925 CWS (+120) vs 926 MIN
Analysis: CWS: LHP John Danks (3-4, 3.78 ERA) vs. MIN: RHP Boof Bonser (3-1, 3.88 ERA)
With Monday's 10-4 victory, the Twins record stands at .500 for the first time since May 10 and they are making a run at the Sox to try and move up to third place in the highly competitive American League Central. Going into Tuesday's game, the Twins are seven games behind the division-leading Indians, while the White Sox are 5.5 games out of first place. Despite yesterday predictable win, the visiting White Sox appear to have a distinct edge. So far they've split the first six games played, but the Twins have had a tough time with left-handed pitching this season (6-10, -$740 with only 3.7 runs per game) and they'll be in against a steadily improving John Danks, who has seen his ERA has dropped to 3.88 after a pair of very effective outings (2.19 ERA over his last two). Danks picked up his first Major League victory at the Metrodome on May 9, allowing one run on three hits over 6 2/3 innings. During his brief career, Danks has a 1-1 record against the Twins, giving up four runs on seven hits over 12 2/3 innings, while fanning 10. Meanwhile, Chicago has posted a profitable 10-7 mark on the road against right-handers (+$545) sand they will have the luxury of facing Boof Bonser. Although Bonser has pitched respectable as of late, his erratic control problem always seem to get him in trouble, and that not good news against this patient White Sox line-up. In summary, it's just too enticing to pass on this underdog in tonights match-up.
Verdict: White Sox 6, Minnesota 3
