Analysis:
³Yes I know the wind is blowing in. That's why we get this number. For starters, we have Gavin Jax who’s been hammered by everyone. His ERA over his last seven starts is 7.54, and 6.91 on the road this season. He’s allowed at least one HR in every start but one, and rarely pitches deep, which brings in the Twins pen that’s been marginal at best. They have blown 20 saves this season. In an NL game I would think the pitchers would be pulled sooner unless of course they’re in beast mode, which I don’t see. The Cubs have gone over in 7 of their last 8 games. Mills can be decent (hence I lean Cubs) but the Chicago pen has been horrible lately, with a WHIP of 1.65 over the last week. It’s the Twins last road series, barring a make up at KC on 10/1 which may or may not get played. Having said that, I can see potential disinterest, which could also lead to AA bullpen pitchers. So with all that, I don’t mind the wind blowing in. It’s still Wrigley and doesn’t take much to knock it out.
