Season Record : 1-0 (+ 1 unit)
got these lines at better prices last night, especially on the Cards, but didn't post here so will post them now at current lines
1)Cubs -120 (Maddux - Ortiz) should be plenty of runs here as neither of these pitchers are dominant to say the least. Ortiz struggled all spring as he did late last year and if he continues this type of pitching today, the Cubbies will score another 16 runs here. Once again I'll side with Maddux and the better hitting Cubs lineup over a bad D'backs team with a struggling pitcher.
2)Cubs over 9.5 (-105) see above post,, should be plenty of runs here, Cubs may cover it themselves if Ortiz continues his spring struggles..
3)Cards +105 - got this at +119 last night,, great value here with a better Cards team against an Astros lineup missing some key weapons this season in Beltran, Kent, and an injured Berkman... Carpenter vs Oswalt is a good pitching matchup, almost a wash in my books,, Cards with the much more potent offense is what gets me on board here.
goodluck
