- Spurs -4 (I got em at -3.5 but -4 is still good value)
Now, if the Spurs weren't 0-2, all bets would be off. Dallas got smoked last night and are in need of a good performance to get themselves back on track. There's no better time to do that than against their hated rivals. But a quality team like San Antonio, winless, at home, and against a team they'd love to beat down? Nobody in the world can talk me out of playing the Spurs tonight.
- Suns -5.5
ONLY -5.5? Really? The Suns were 24-6 against the East last year and are facing a NJ team that is a shadow of its former self. Nash vs. Harris, Amare and Shaq vs. Yi and Lopez? I don't get why it's only -5.5, should be higher, at least -6.5. Nonetheless I'll take it and say thanks. :toast:
As for the Boston-Houston game, I'm just going to watch it and evaluate each team for future purposes. Houston looks ready to become an elite team and a win tonight would put them there at least for now. But the defending champs are +3? It was very hard for me not to play Boston, but I would much rather sit this one out since I can't really put my finger on whether Houston is elite or still a pretender. After tonight I will have a much better feel for the Rockets as a team.
