Suppan's been awful on the road this year.
Before I go break the bank, any reason why you think Johnson will get more beat up than Suppan?
here u go.......
Arizona is 8-20 vs winning teams at home this year. 3-8 vs the NL central, and just 2-6 vs right-handed starters......AZ does much better when facing left-handed starters, as most of us know. However Suppan for (Milw) has given up 7 earned runs over his last 2 starts in 7 2/3 innings vs Baltimore & ATL....he is also 2-5 with a 5.73 ERA on the road this year...but has a 3.86 career ERA vs Arizona in 7 starts....I am obviously banking on him to have a solid outing 2night, and feel like he will vs this AZ team who can really struggle vs right-handed starters. Now to good OLD Randy Johnson........Randy has NO WINS since May 18th, and Arizona is 0-7 in his last 7 starts.....prior to his last start vs Boston (which was decent) he has given up 18 earned runs in 18 innings, with 27 HITS.....Randy is also sporting a 3-2 record at home this year with a very ugly 6.23 ERA.......1 more note is, just how much better Milwaukee hits left-handed starters as a team.....So with all that being said, I have a strong gut feeling about Milw 2night, and feel like they will chase Randy early, and hopefully Suppan has his command and get the right hand hittin D-backs to chase the low and away pitches.... This is only my 2nd 5 Unit bet of the season.....I lost my other 1 with the Reds about a month ago..GL all & GO Milwaukee!!
