A great play for tonight is UConn (-11) @ Rutgers.

Rutgers is 7-3 but comes into this game with some tough losses to good teams. All of their victories are against bad teams.

We don't think UConn is worthy of their number 1 jersey but they are definitely good enough to hang 20 on this low average Rutgers team.

Since you already know UConn will win this game the only question is will they cover? UConn is out scoring opponents by 24 points a game. This team is no better than any of those other teams they have beaten by that much.

Any thoughts are welcome. Cheers

I am a big Uconn fan, and I can tell you that they have struggled in the past at the RAC.They
did not cover against Rice in Houston. Rice and Rutgers are about equal in the Sagarin ratings.
With that said, the Huskies are not the same team they were a month ago. Villanueva has had a
huge impact on this team since he started playing, he continues to get better every game.
I still would not lay 11 at the RAC. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the comment. The general publics perception is that UConn isn't good on the road. That is essentially keeping this line down. Rice is a much better team than Rutgers is and much further away. I may be wrong but we all are from time to time. I guess we will see tonight though

Capp, Uconn is terrible at the foul line, it will be the death of them sooner or later. Also,
this is the first Big East road game for the
Huskies and as much as I like them, I know what
has happened to them at the RAC in past yrs.
Good luck, I will be watching and rooting for my Huskies but just can't get myself to lay the
wood.

Capp, One more point, Jimmy (technical) Calhoun
has cost Uconn more covers with his technical
fouls. They were up 30+ points with 4 minutes
to go against Umass last week and they win by
24 giving 25pts. He gets a TECH up 30+ pts and
costs an easy cover. He is a good coach but he
is the bettors nightmare. good luck

Capp, As I said, Uconn can't shoot free throws
(13 for 27) and gave up 10 3pointers to Rutgers.
They were lucky to get out of the RAC with a W.
Best of luck to you the rest of the season.
