2-0 Monday, 6-2 YTD. Six straight winners after losing my first two plays of the season by 5 pts combined. Let's see if we can keep this hot streak going for another day.

As posted earlier today,

Tulsa -7

Not sure if this is all for Tuesday, or not.

Good luck all,

WRST returns 5 top 10 scorers from last year (3,4,6,7,10)
Tulsa returns three more (2,3,4,5,7,8,9,10)

This line has been well adjusted for both teams offseason changes.

However, this morning I said to myself 'I will go with Tulsa if they are favored by 10 or less', and here's why.

Those 5 WRST scorers who return from last year are all sophomores, and WRST as a team has 11 under classmen players on a 13 player roster. That's a lot. Tulsa only has 5 of them on a 14 player roster.

There is also the home court advantage factor, and historically Tulsa plays well at home. WRST's young team should struggle here.

Finally, Tulsa had a bad year in 2003, and they should improve this year. They are picked 8th/9th in the preseason coaches' pool, and Wright State has been picked 6th, mostly because of their solid 2003 season. However, this is just not the same team, and this should be a 'down' year for them.

I think Tulsa -10 is a more realistic line.

Good luck,

WS,
I like Tulsa tomorrow as well and now that you are on it, I will make it a play of mine for sure. What was your record, documented or non-documented last year? I know that you have said that college basketball is your best sport, so what is a realistic goal of yours to reach for the season? Thanks and good luck the rest of the season.

Spreadbeater, thanks for your support and good luck with Tulsa tomorrow.
Since many of you asked about my 2003 college basketball record, I will post it, but to be honest with you guys, I don't think this is a good idea. You know why.

Last 3 years:

2003: 131-69 (65,5 %) best conferences MW, WAC, BW
2002: 145-83 (63,6 %) best conferences SB, MW, IVY
2001: 124-85 (59,3 %) best conferences MW, BW, IVY

Best betting periods:

Early non conference games, Early conference play, Late conference play.

My goal is to hit 60%. Everything over 60% would be great.

I bet about $1,000 per game.

Good luck,

Is Wright State's transfer Zach Williams eligible yet? He was an alright player for Ohio State.

Inspades, I moved to St.Johns, Canada 10 years ago. Alaska is my homeland and it is beautifull...of course if you love winter LOL.

Mr.Negative, I would buy that half point. 7 is a key number in basketball.

Jacksorbetter, yes he is eligible this year. He sat out last season, and he could be rusty early on this season. He is their only Sr and Jaron Taylor is the only junior on their roster. They have 6 Soph. and 5 Freshmen.

Good luck,

Missouri has a very young team this year and they struggled last night against another young team last night, the Forte-less Brown, and that tells me a lot. They return five top 10 scorers from last year (3,5,6,7,10), and three of those 5 guys are sophomores. They will have an up and down kind of season this year, and they should not be favored by this many points against anyone this year, especially against C-USA, who has a great underdog ATS record vs Big 12 over the years. Houston is not much more experienced this season, but at least they return six top 10 scorers from last year (1,3,5,7,8,9) and two of those 6 guys are seniors (including the #1) and two are juniors. They also have a good coach this year, who made his living on taking bad programs and turning them around. They struggled against SHS last night, but that was no surprise for me, as SHS returns almost all of their key players from last year. SHS was picked to win their conference this year, and they were more excited about that matchup than Houston. I had that line at HOU -2, and I expected a tight game, and a tight game it was. For today's matchup, I think Missouri -6.5 is the more realistic line.

I tried to post it as soon as I could. I expected it to go down, but not this quick and this big. Houston +12.5 now, and I would probably stil take it at this number, for a smaller amount of money.

One more play coming up shortly.

I watched the MU game last nite. They tend to play a very undisciplined game. A typical Quin Snyder team...as soon as the ball is over the mid court line...players have the freedom to shoot whenever. They were very cold for the 3 pt line.

SCST +3.5

Going with this small school once again. This is a rather small play for me, only because I wanted to get 4 or more points. This is why I didn't play/post it last night, when the line was +2.5/+3. This line is simply based on last years ratings/performances/rosters of these two squads and that's a mistake imo. SCST is even better this year, and PSU should be just as bad as last year. I already posted the chart of returning SCST scorers yesterday, but I will do it again today, in order to compare it with PSU.

Returning scorers (SCST):

#1 Senior
#2 Sophomore
#3 Senior
#4 Senior
#5 Junior
#6 Senior

Returning scorers (PSU)

#2 Sophomore
#4 Junior
#5 Sophomore
#10 Senior
#12 Sophomore

SCST is a well coached team and they should stay in this game until the last buzzer and maybe even win it. My line for this matchup is PK.

That's all for today, good luck guys.

Like tulsa too. WSU struggled with Div. 3 Ohio Diminican in exibition, pulling out a 2 pt. win at the end of game. Also, 2nd yr, HC Paul Biancardi has a cloud hanging over him that won't go away. He was the assisstant at Ohio St. and is involved in a mess about inappropiate funds and housing provided to athletes. Can't say that would have any effect on the outcome of this game, but it certainly isn't a positive. RE: Dayton teams, have watched UD Flyers play exibition too, and they don't look good either, but only because they are so very young. GL
