RECORD YTD 40-27 (.597)
SIDES 28-18 (.608)
TOTALS 12-9 (.571)

Rejuvenated start for all the teams as they jockey for playoff positions and us bettors as we try and kick the man's ass.

Miami should surge in the second half. Injuries have taken their toll in the first half of the season, still this team shows up to play at home. 10-1 ATS as the favorite winning by an average of 8 points. Utah on the other hand loses their games by 5 points in the road underdog role. Rather be at home to work off that midseason layoff rust and start the second season off with a bang.

OR, I put my Skybook streak (4 games) on the line with Miami -4. As you said, they had injury problems in the 1st half. They began the season 5-15, but since then they're 17-17!

Hey, 17-17 isn't bad for an Eastern Conference team!

Also, Miami's 1st half schedule was skewed towards road-games and Western Conference games. I think they played 31 road-games and 20 Western games. This includes two games against San Ant, Minny, and Houston.

Right now, Miami is only a game out of the playoffs, and I think they'll be motivated to take advantage of their relatively easy 2nd half schedule.

Meanwhile, I think Utah is a great team to fade. They played amazingly well to start the year, but it appears they're running out of gas. The loss of Matt Harpring is HUGE for a team that doesn't have much talent to begin with. Harpring was a perfect fit for Utah's style of play.

Also like the over 167. Looking for something like Miami 92, Utah 83.

Well put Funk. Miami has been good to me here for the reasons you highlighted.

OR, you seem to be a pretty good capper. How come you go for long periods of time without posting? And, do you play any other sports (college hoops? football? baseball?)?

Jc. I'll take a break when my luck turns for the worse. I have a "Formula" with fixed parameters that controls the emotional aspects. When the going gets bad, I can only attribute it to Lady Luck and natural probabilities catching up to me. I was 3 games away from 70% here and the bottom fell out. I took a break.

If there's odds on it, I'll Capp it. Not enough time for NHL or College Baskets.

Do you keep detailed records, including W/L records for previous seasons?

If it isn't too much trouble, what were your records in the different sports over the last couple of years? Sorry to keep bothering you, but, I'm curious.

Straggling in this AM from the Laker game. Miami now 11-1 ATS as a home favorite. A nice start here.

Al Michaels walked by last night, I turned to my girlfriend and said, "That guy looked just like Al Michaels, She called his name, he turned and gave us a "tip of the hat"

Later on Jack Black came by, My GF, somewhat tipsy said. "Hey Jeff Black, ( and poked his fat tummy)I liked you in School of Rock." He shot her an angry glance. I don't know what annoyed him more, poking him in his stomach or the fact that she called him Jeff Black. It was funny.
