Early statement game for Philly; they've had since Thursday to ponder their dismal 2-4 start. Still Philly is a force to be reckon with at home. Thanks in partly to 2 home scoring blowouts, this 2-4 team sports a +2 overall scoring differential.

Utah is on its second game of their road trip after having dropped their first game and will be missing, Okur, Williams and Harpring.

Boozer and Brand square off, the matchup alone is worth the price of admission.

Posted: 10:29 AM- PHILADELPHIA - A little more than three weeks after he sprained his ankle in an Oct. 18 preseason game, Deron Williams is expected to make his return for the Jazz in Tuesday night's game against Philadelphia.
Williams told Jazz coach Jerry Sloan that he intended to play, although Williams later told reporters he would be a game-time decision. Williams averaged 37.3 minutes for the Jazz last season, but Sloan said he would be used "sparingly" against the 76ers.
"I'm probably not going to play 40 minutes tonight. I don't think my wind or my ankle" will allow it, Williams said at the pregame shootaround. "The problem with playing games is that, at the same time, it's not good to sit out because then the ankle gets stiff.
"I don't know what coach has in store. If I play, we'll find out."

Espn headline says: "Jazz knock off Sixers as Williams plays first game" Gotta love the blind hype media, Williams goes 1 for 8, he was rusty'

Philly has no bench hence the loss; 4 0ut 16 fgs 25%. Jazz bench 18 out of 32, 56%. Jazz has been all team last 2 years great bench and coaching.

I really did not realize just how bad their bench is...

They allowed Atlanta back into the game after being up 23 in Week 1...

Utah outscored them 13-2 to close out the 1Q and continued the onslaught in the 2Q (23-17)...I was at work and didn't see a lot of the game, but had it on our big-screen and was able to see some of it to the point where I made a comment to a customer that I needed to turn this game off...And I did...

Right before I left work, I turned the TV on just to see the score and Philly led by 4 as the 3Q ended...I felt they had righted the ship...But the bench no doubt came in to start the 4Q and Utah blitzed them 30-13 in the 4Q, because when I turned the TV on at Home for the first time, the game just went final and I was p*ssed...

I guess I am off Philly till further notice --- which means they'll cover tonight...

I was busy at work also glancing at the computer screen from time to time. I also turned the game off at the half, back at the end of the 3rd,"wow they righted the ship" then watched the screen in the 4th as Jazz tally moved up and Phil stayed put. looked at box score... no bench
