GOOD LUCK BUDDY:toast:
ANY THOUGHTS ON BAL,TEX ,ARI,LAA,KC,LAD/CIN OVER AND CUBS/HOU OVER:think2:
Yikes, that's a lot of games to consider. So rather than my normal long-winded responses I will give the shortened version:
I don't care for BAL tonight. Yeah, Weaver's season stats look bad, but Trachsel has been horrible in the L3 games (0~1 with a 5.06 ERA). Both pitchers are bad. Maybe an over play here?
Consider this stat: The OVER is 6~1 in Trachsels L7 starts vs. a team with a winning record.
Same goes with TEX vs OAK...both pitchers are struggling badly in the L3 starts (Gaudin 0~2 with 7.13 ERA vs. Gabbard 1~1 with a 4.67 ERA). But here's why I don't like TEX:
OAK is 4~0 in Gaudins last 4 road starts vs. a team with a losing record.
The LAD/CIN Over play looks promising. Hendrickson is 4~5 with a 4.55 season ERA and Arroyo is 4~12 with a 4.72 season ERA....but more importantly, in the L3 starts Handrickson has a 7.98 ERA and Arroyo has a 6.46 ERA!! You just need to pray for some offense in this game (LAD has scored 0, 7, 0, 2 & 6 runs in the L5 and CIN has scored 9, 13, 3, 2 & 3 runs in the L5). CIN seems to be scoring better as of late, but both are inconsistent. Looks like a good play though and Whisky is on it. That's a plus!
Not sure what to make of the CUBS/HOU OVER play. The pitching looks like it leans toward an Over (Marshall 5.52 ERA in the L3 games and Williams with a 5.68 ERA in the L3) but the CUB offense is strugglin a bit and HOU was hot but then slowed down (CUBS scoring 1, 3, 6, 2 & 6 in the L5 and HOU scoring 2, 5, 5, 8 & 12). Plus remember that the CUBS are missing Soriano's big bat from the lineup.
