3-3 yesterday but big chalk loss on the yanks gives me -2.01 units for the day. I sometimes forget why I don't play the big favorites and then remember the hard way.

Thanks for the support Nova. Hope I can help. Just as it is with any handicapper, watch for streaks. I increase the bets when I am on a streak, and lower them if I struggle for a couple of days. It goes with the saying that squares eat like a bird and shit like an elephant. When the are hot, they back off because they want to collect "some" money. When they are cold, they press trying to get even. I believe you have to do the opposite.

Redding pitching better of late but has not had his good fastball. Cubs should be able to tee off on it.

Another solid day. Thought we had the Bost total but I'll take 4-2 +5.02 units every day. (but damn +7.11 had such a nice ring to it)

I actually like both early games tomorrow. After a little more research I will post both plays. Should be in the next hour or so.

Nothing wrong with big chalk sometimes. If a team takes 2 out of 3 against a team while getting -200 you end up even. You end up ahead taking -200 if that favorite wins 3 out of 4.

I agree with what you are saying BigGames, but I try to avoid the big chalk to keep me from pressing. When I lose a -160 to -200 game I now feel I have to win 2 games to make up for it, or double my bet. I hit two dogs that day, but the chalk I lost negated them. To me it is not worth hitting two tough games to give it back on one big favorite. Every now and then I still bet them, but the more years I gamble, the less of them I play.
