Yesterday

MLB 7-0 +7.70

holy cow

including my unposted Sunday and my final posted play of Saturday, we've gone 17-0 over about 48 hours.

Overall Saturday was a dismal 1-5, but Friday was also 7-0 (5-0, plus two Series bets that paid Sat nite), so that gives us a 24-5 run.

We had a 30-10 run in late May, but this is the best to date this season.

Thanks to Kapusta, Tomorrows Newspaper and BucsFan for their posts as they have each been a contributor to our final choices over the past four days.

Back later with hopes to keep the pace going.

Unusual for people to Reply to our threads, and then today I get HOG and HUGG back2back...

HOG, "We" represent the collective voices of the many tortured souls who reside in our poor, addled dome....No touting here...We figure if we're any good, we'll make all the CHING we want right at the window. What do we need your, or anyone else's money for? I know you realize that.

CHUGG, WHAT IS UP? Long time, no see.

Ayuh, we occasionally pine for the days of Ibettor...we had a real cool group there. But I think I can honestly say that The RX has turned out to be for us, the best such site we've participated in since joining this Game back in early 1999. Plus, we're free to rag the crap out of BAWG over here, which is always a good time.

Day Ball In The Great Game

DEVIL +120 vs Bomber...almost passed this one, but just gotta figure that the price on this is going to be tilted unduly towards NYY, so we'll look for the newly revamped Rays lineup to pound the pootie out of Joe Contreras and hope that VicZ can home in on the strike zone like he did for most of late May and all of June.

BEAR +105 vs Redbird....Morris has traditionally been a solid investment, but he's giving up bombs at a record pace. Looking for Cubs to poke at least a pair of dingers today.

JAY +145 at Athletic
JAY/ATHLETIC Over 9 -115

TRIBE +145 at Halo
TRIBE/HALO Over 9 +110

All four of these teams have sub-.500 records in past 30 games, so we'll use the plus money in both. Also have very good numbers pointing Over, notably Washburn at home and his 5.5 ERA

SOX/SEAMEN Over 8.5 -135 Hate to lay this price, but see no reason this game doesn't shatter 10 by end of 6th inning, with two Blojob starters working in a day game.

A doobie each as we stay conservative and pound away.
