Race 1

(8) LITTLE QUICK has a patented late kick, is fresh off a win and has won two of his last three. (10) VAL AMERICA raced terrific in his last start for trainer Larocque in this class and has all kinds of back class to offer. (9) SHIPPS XPECTANCY will likely be your first leader with his gate speed and is a prime threat in this lower level.

Race 2

(4) MAGIC FACTORY has terrific gate speed, minds her manners and was a game third in her most recent outing. (2) LOVE DETECTIVE draws inside and comes from the Takter barn. She has the speed and should appreciate the better post. (6) WINGS OF BALLYKEEL was a winner two back, comes from the Moreau barn and may offer a price.

Race 3

(1) MYSTICAL WISHES gets the rail and was a comfortable winner last week by over seven lengths for trainer Alagna. (8) VIVA BAYAMA has won three straight, enters the Larocque barn and has missed the board once this season. (6) CHELSEAS CHANCE comes from the McIntosh barn, gets post relief and drops out of the Canadian Breeders Championship final and into this easier field.

Race 4

(10) YS LOTUS shows quick speed at Pocono and moves into the Zeron barn. He is a two-time winner already this season. (7) TWIN B SHADOW has excellent gate speed, gets MacDonald in the bike and appears to be a prime threat. (3) CHRISTAS WINGS draws inside, comes from the Gillis barn and may come at a price.

Race 5

(5) ACAPULCO HALL is a perfect one-for-one this season, moves onto this circuit and looks like the filly to beat. (7) FLEXIBLE WOMAN has been racing consistently all season, drops in class from two back and is a top threat in here for trainer Bax. (1) ***** MAC will likely utilize her gate speed, comes from the McIntosh barn and was a winner three back in this class.

Race 6

(10) STEPHANA DREAM was recently timed in 1:54 1/5 at The Meadowlands, returns to this circuit and is capable of overcoming post 10. (3) DREAM ACT enters the Baillargeon barn and is a threat if she can mind her manners. She’s a coin toss based on her past performances. (2) WONDERLAND SNOW draws inside, was a winner two back and has some upset potential for the Pick 4. Parsons’ barn has done very well this season and this filly has some upside.

Race 7

(4) BESTINTHEBUSINESS is a sub-1:50 winner, has some back class and is a threat in this bottom class as he returns to this circuit. (2) CAMS TUX draws inside, has a patented late kick and shouldn’t get away too far back with an inside post. (8) CROWN ISLE was much better in his latest to finish second with a quick final quarter. He’s a top threat with a repeat effort.

Race 8

(10) NORMSTRIKESFAME went a big mile last week, has terrific gate speed along with a credible 2014 campaign. (9) REGAL BABE hasn’t been worse than second in each of his last six starts. (8) TITUS SEELSTER is fresh off a win, raced in the Gold Series two back and shows 1:51 speed.

Race 9

(5) THATS MY OPINION was very disappointing last week as the heavy favorite. I’ll back him again in here based on his pedigree and sizzling speed from two back. (7) RANSON DEMAND has finished second in each of his last four starts, including last week in this class. (3) IDEALBEACH HANOVER continues to improve and provided a better result last week. He has the speed and comes from top connections.

Race 10

(8) MISS AULTSVILLE has the speed, but will need to mind her manners. Her latest qualifier indicates that she’s ready for tonight’s contest. (2) DIAMONDS FOR LIFE draws inside, comes from the Steacy barn and has hit the board in two of her last three. (6) K D BELLA finally broke her maiden last week and again poses as a top threat. She’s very versatile and starts from a good post.

Race 11

(2) KATE SMITH raced barefoot last week and that proved to be the winning move as she responded with a win. (4) HOLLYWOOD DRAMA comes from the Moore barn, hasn’t missed the board in each of his last three starts and has a good record this season. (3) APHRODITY raced in the Gold Series and Canadian Breeders Championship in recent outings and should enjoy this easier field. She’s a top threat in here for Zeron.

Race 12

(2) SOME MAJOR BEACH has been much better in each of his last two starts, draws inside and will offer a low price. (3) HALL BRO has been pacing terrific miles in Quebec and is certainly capable of a big effort on this circuit. He begins from a good post and has an excellent record this season. (6) VIP BAYAMA comes from the Larocque barn, shows quick speed and should offer a price.

(2) LITTLE MICHAEL B faced better at Philly. He can boss these at his best. (3) BRUSTER HANOVER has fine speed and gets Brennan. (1) THE X HORSE can fare well from the fence.


Race 2

(5) EXPRESSIVE ACTION made a break in his latest try. Sophomore has every right to return to his winning ways. (2) FLYHAWK EL DURADO has wheeled off two straight victories. (3) CASH ME OUT is clearly knocking at the door.

Race 3

(1) WELL TO DO makes his return to Yonkers and this looks like a perfect spot for this gelding to bring home all the bacon. (3) ROCKSTAR STRIDE has good early zip and could atone for the flop as the chalk. (4) THEREISAPACEFORUS gets post relief.

Race 4

(3) BROOKROAD KNIGHT gets the luck of the draw in this event. Trotter is very capable of getting the job done against this group. (2) ADENIUM was nailed for win honors last out. (1) TAGMASTER fits with these, so watch out from his rail slot.

Race 5

(5) CRAZOLO needs a perfect trip and he is capable of winning races; maybe. (2) GENERAL BILL BROWN has scored in his last four trips; the one to deny. (6) HIGH Q could be a factor in here.

Race 6

(1) MEETBEHINDTHEBARN moves down the ladder, gets the rail slot and Brennan gets the call. (6) MEETYOUATMIDNIGHT took the pocket route home to victory last time around. (5) RUDE BOY has fine early zip; watch out.

Race 7

(3) ZOEY DE VIE is one sharp sort. Gelding is fit and ready to make tonight a winning one. (7) GURAL HANOVER is a tough sophomore who is clearly the one to fear. (2) ROYAL MAX is seeking his first score of the year; knocking at the door.

Race 8

(1) TSMLIL ORPHAN ANDY posted a sharp victory last out at Philly. Trotting gelding moves to Yonkers and has the rail slot; all systems go for his second straight score. (5) SUN OF VICTORY showed some speed in his latest; threat. (4) BROADWAYS FORTUNE is not out of this.

Race 9

(7) KYLE MAJOR has been sharp in his last two tries. Pacer could be ready to fire his best with Sears at the helm. (1) HES A LOCK gets serious post relief and Brennan signs on to drive; major player. (3) FALL TOY could be right in the mix.

Race 10

(2) MONOLOGUE came close to grabbing his third lifetime score. Sophomore can move forward with a fine-timed drive from Carlson. (4) CARD SHOCK was in over his head in Meadowlands finale; main danger. (6) GOLD ROCKS could be a big factor in here.

Race 11

(4) ANOTHER TRANSCRIPT moves down the ladder and that's a good sign for this trotting 3-year-old; ready for action. (1) TOSS CARTWRIGHT is a very sharp trotter that will be the one to fear from the 1-hole. (5) THE WAY I AM closed strongly for the victory in his last start.

Race 12

(6) K LEES SHAKENBAKE is back at Yonkers where he was a game third. He is capable of grabbing this at his best. (3) DISARREI has done very well in his last four tries; big threat. (5) OFF LIKA PROMDRESS was second best last time out; beware.

ALLOCATE - Rider hops up aboard after getting to know the magnificent animal by riding last time around the track. That's always a helpful angle. This horse has the early speed, and no one may be able to keep up with him. Reed had been running this gelding at higher levels recently. Did win a $10,000 Claiming race though, on May 31st. Could do it again here. Reed brings him right back. I advocate you stick with this live gelding. GOOD TIME COMING - This gelding is in top physical condition right now. Finished first last time out and comes back soon. Three consecutive improved Equibase speed figures (56-67-71) make this horse a powerful contender.

Vulnerable Contenders: #3 MISSILE ASSAULT (ML=7/2), #5 LATE DOUBLE JACK (ML=6/1),

MISSILE ASSAULT - I find it hard to play any thoroughbred in a short distance race at 7/2 when he hasn't shown any competitive efforts in sprints in the last 60 days. LATE DOUBLE JACK - Improbable that this horse will finish better than he did last time when finishing fourth. Hard to put any cash on this gelding on the top end. Likes to end up on the board though.

DUKATI - Was in a Starter Allowance race at Parx Racing last time around the track. That race had a class number of 90 and he is moving down right here. A certain serious competitor. Looks like the lone speed of the race. Should be tough on the front-end. A repeat of that most recent performance on July 1st where he earned a fig of 74 looks lofty enough to triumph in this event.

Vulnerable Contenders: #3 A BETTER TOMORROW (ML=8/5), #6 THORIN (ML=4/1), #4 ANHOUROFHONOR (ML=5/1),

A BETTER TOMORROW - On a downward spiraling series. Speed figs keep dropping. I can't play this confirmed non-winner. Gets the assignment finished once in a while. Finished second in his most recent race with a substandard speed rating. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to prove victorious after that in this bunch. THORIN - This come from behinder should have a rough go of it to get there in time with an absence of speed in this race. ANHOUROFHONOR - Didn't end up on the board on Jul 13th at Parx Racing. Followed it up with another lackluster effort. When looking at today's class figure, he will have to register a better speed fig than last time out to vie in this dirt route.

(7) STOLEN CROWN faces significantly weaker while down in class and will be tough to beat with a trouble-free trip. (4) ZOOMIN JESSE gets a huge driver change and could be sitting on an improved effort. (9) ROSE RUN NEMO should pass some horses late with a good setup; fires late.

Race 2

In a field with two contenders, (4) LOCK THREE is really starting to find his stride and should offer the better price. (1) C‘MON MR BROCK has won his last three races by over a 20 lengths combined. (8) FEATURE MATCHUP is up against it from a tough post but has more ability than what he’s been showing; use underneath.

Race 3

(2) SENATOR SAM looks very tough to beat on paper so long as he stays trotting. (6) LASER LUCY owns some back class and is capable of big miles from time to time. (4) NEELY SPRING looks to be regressing but has beaten much better on the year.

Race 4

In a weak and inconsistent field, (2) FOLLOW A DREAM looks terrible on paper but does add Lasix for the second time and has flashed talent. (3) CASIMIR LUCKYNUTZ changes barns, gets a huge driver change, and should be considered a threat despite being winless on the year. (8) DIGGERS REST N gets a low percentage pilot and the worst post, but has been racing gamely in his last two.

Race 5

(3) CLASSY CHASSY just needs to ration out her speed for a nice piece; fires early. (1) EDOM UP BLUE BOY has been competitive at this level and gets the best post. (4) DREAM CRAZED is one of a few with upside in the race and is just now rounding into racing shape.

Race 6

In a tough race to handicap, (2) BAY SHARK gets a top pilot, will offer a big price, and has shown a big burst of speed when timed right. (1) INFORM is a smooth trip away from hitting the ticket at a price. (3) MACH TO THE LIMIT also benefits from a different driver and races better forwardly placed.

Race 7

(4) WOODMERE SPEEDBALL never had much of a shot last out but has been racing gamely for a top barn. (5) PAPA GRANDE has been knocking on the door and just needs some racing luck to get over the hump. (6) OIL SLICKER set a lifetime mark last out, but the driver opted elsewhere and the 5-year-old faces tougher; command a price.

Race 8

(5) KNOCKOUT ART was the driver’s choice and could be the sleeper in the race; threat. (4) SINGIN BLUES will be tough to beat with an aggressive drive from a low percentage pilot; fires early. (3) KINETIC YANKEE went a big mile last week out of the blue and will probably be over-bet off that effort. However, if he races back to that effort, it could be lights out.

Race 9

(1) ELIAN’S VALENTINE gets the best post and should be in line for a good trip. (7) MYSTERY XPOSED is capable of going coast to coast with an easy lead; threat. (4) CHANGE THE FUTURE could have an outside shot at a big price for an inconsistent trainer.

Race 10

(8) JUDE HALL makes his second start for new connections. The 4-year-old was facing and beating much better in Illinois. (3) RULING V C N picks up a positive driver change and owns a good burst of speed. (1) GORDIEISANARTIST has burned lots of cash this year; command a price.

Race 11

(1) BOILER BREES has been going some big efforts with a suspect driver; threat. (4) STORMY GHOST is very inconsistent from week to week, but a good effort gets it done. (5) DANNY’S MAN has been racing gamely for a provisional driver.

Race 12

(9) NO SHENANIGANS has been on a roll and just needs the driver to work out a smooth trip. (3) CRUISE ON OSBORNE will be used very aggressively while down in class; fires early. (7) SF TERRIFIC KISSER gets sent out for a recent hot barn; threat.

Race 13

(9) JEREME ROCKS has been knocking on the door against his bunch and should offer a nice price. (8) SONICPEDIA has the most ability in the field but gets a very tough post to navigate. (2) HEARTACHE’S BLUES is fast enough to pull off the upset with some racing luck; also offers a huge price.

Race 14

(3) OUTAMYSPACE picks up a huge driver change; big chance. (1) WILLIE‘S PLACE bumps up in class, but gets the best post and looks to have more to offer against a weak bunch. (9) JP ORAZIO was a game winner last out and faces similar.

Race 15

(2) BONNERS CREEK has just been racing evenly but finds a wide-open and evenly-matched race; threat. (1) MILLIONDOLLAR ART owns some very fast wins at this level and was the driver’s choice. (9) TEDDY KGB doesn’t look like much on paper but was better last out.
