KEY STAT: B36 haven't won any of their last five games

EXPERT VERDICT: The New Saints picked up a fantastic 2-1 away win in the first leg and home advantage can help them secure a place in the second round. They scored two valuable away goals and B36 are in poor form. The Faroe Islanders will have to push men forward and TNS can pick them off on the counter-attack to seal the tie.

RECOMMENDATION: The New Saints 3-1

KEY STAT: Levadia Tallinn have scored 20 goals in their last six games

EXPERT VERDICT: After a goalless first leg in which Crusaders missed multiple chances they could find it tough to progress. Levadia have been in free-scoring form in their league and are a difficult side to beat on home turf. The Northern Irish champions are capable of creating chances but their finishing may let them down.

RECOMMENDATION: Levadia

KEY STAT: Panama have conceded eight goals in their last six games

EXPERT VERDICT: Both teams have struggled with inconsistency lately but Panama should be encouraged by recent friendly victories over Trinidad & Tobago and Costa Rica. Haiti drew with China last time out but this looks like a difficult opener for them against a team who could make a real charge in the Gold Cup.

RECOMMENDATION: Panama

KEY STAT: Before facing Guatemala, USA had scored 13 goals in their previous six games

EXPERT VERDICT: The USA could not have had a better preparation for the Gold Cup after seeing off the might of Germany and Holland in build-up friendlies. However, Honduras won't be a pushover after reaching the semi-finals in 2013. Jurgen Klinsmann's side should come out on top but it could prove a tight affair.

RECOMMENDATION: USA to win 2-1

KEY STAT: Jamaica have conceded only four goals in their last eight games

EXPERT VERDICT: Costa Rica were the surprise team of the 2014 World Cup and are the highest-ranked team at the Gold Cup after reaching the quarter-finals in Brazil. Expect them to come out on top of this one, although it won't be easy. Jamaica don't concede many goals as they showed at the Copa America.

RECOMMENDATION: Costa Rica to win 1-0

KEY STAT: El Salvador have kept just two clean sheets in their last 11 games

EXPERT VERDICT: Canada are bound to be confident they can do well at the Gold Cup having lost just one of their last seven matches and an opener against a poor El Salvador side looks the perfect first game. Tosaint Ricketts hit two goals in their 4-0 win over Dominica and could set them on their way to three points.

RECOMMENDATION: T Ricketts first scorer

Game of the Day: A's at Yankees

Oakland A's at New York Yankees (+102, 7.5)

The New York Yankees are fighting off a trio of other teams for first place in the American League East and could use some momentum heading into the All-Star break. The Oakland Athletics, who visit the Yankees for the start of a three-game series on Tuesday, sit in last place in the AL West despite owning a better run differential than New York.

The A’s are among the most unlucky teams in the league this season and are gearing up to be sellers at the trade deadline at the end of the month despite their plus-49 run differential. Oakland dropped six of its last 10 games and three of those losses came by one run, including Sunday’s 2-1 setback against Seattle. The Yankees are trying to find more consistency in an offense that is averaging 2.4 runs over the last seven games, culminating in an 8-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Sunday. New York could find runs hard to come by again on Tuesday when they face A’s ace Sonny Gray, who opposes Nathan Eovaldi.

LINE HISTORY: Oddsmakers opened the Yanks as +102 dogs, which is where that line was sitting at the time of writing.

INJURY REPORT: A's - S. Gray (probable), P. Venditte (15-day DL), S. Doolittle (60-day DL), C. Crisp (60-day DL), T. Ladendorf (60-day DL), J. Parker (60-day DL), T. Thompson (60-day DL). Yankees - C. Beltran (15-day DL), J. Ellsbury (early July), B. Ryan (15-day DL), M. Williams (15-day DL), A. Miller (15-day DL), G. Petit (15-day DL), S. Heathcott (15-day DL), S. Santos (out for season), C. Whitley (60-day DL).

WEATHER WATCH: There's currently a 36 percent chance of precipitation in the New York area at game time with a chance of thunderstorms.

WHAT CAPPERS SAY: "In the category of 'unusual ailment/injury,' A's ace Sonny Gray was forced to miss two starts with Salmonella poisoning. A serious illness, it caused Gray to remain in the hospital for several days. On the plus side, the A's did well in his absence, going 4-3 last week. After Tampa Bay and Baltimore took their spots at the top of the AL East, it's now the Yankees' turn. New York sported the best team ERA in its division last week at 2.67 with its starters leading the way at 2.54. The Yankees have to go into Boston to face the red-hot Red Sox right before the break." Covers Expert Al McMordie

PITCHING MATCHUP: Athletics RH Sonny Gray (9-3, 2.09 ERA) vs. Yankees RH Nathan Eovaldi (8-2, 4.53)

Gray battled salmonella last week and is making his first start since earning a win at Texas on June 25. The 25-year-old allowed eight earned runs in 12 innings over his last two turns to see his ERA jump from 1.60 to 2.09. Gray went eight innings against New York on May 29 and scattered two runs and four hits while striking out five to pick up the win.

Eovaldi is riding a hot streak with three straight wins and is coming off the best of the bunch, when he held the Los Angeles Angels scoreless over 5 1/3 innings. The Texan did not go more than six innings in any of those last three starts but let up a total of four runs in 17 1/3 frames. Eovaldi yielded a season-high 11 hits but limited the damage to three runs in 4 2/3 innings at Oakland on May 30 without factoring in the decision.

TRENDS:

*Athletics are 4-0 in Grays last 4 road starts.
*Under is 5-1-1 in Athletics last 7 overall.
*Athletics are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings.
*Under is 5-1-1 in Yankees last 7 overall.

CONSENSUS: Fifty-six percent are presently backing the Bronx Bombers.

Mariners' Cano hindered by stomach ailment

Robinson Cano finished fifth in American League MVP voting last season, his first year with the Seattle Mariners, but the second baseman has played nowhere close to that level this season.

And now we know at least part of the reason: Cano told USA Today he is dealing with a debilitating stomach condition that has made it hard for him to remain nourished and has sapped him of energy. In addition, his grandfather and "No. 1 fan" died in March.

In 2014, after signing a 10-year, $240 million contract with the Mariners, Cano hit .314 with 14 homers and 82 RBIs and was selected to his fifth straight All-Star team.

But he told USA Today in an interview published Sunday that he began to experience stomach trouble in August and was diagnosed with a parasite. That ailment was treated with antibiotics, which left him with extreme acid reflux that has bothered him ever since.

"It still affects me," Cano told USA Today. "Sometimes you drink water and it makes you feel like vomiting. I can't eat the same way I did. It's hard to deal with, especially being the first time this has happened to me. Sometimes I eat only once a day before playing, because I feel full. And you just don't have the same energy."

Cano, 32, is hitting just .248 this season, with a mere five homers and 27 RBIs. His struggles have been a microcosm of -- and certainly part of the reason for -- a frustrating season for a Seattle team that had high hopes of making the playoffs. The Mariners were 38-44, fifth in the AL West, before playing the Detroit Tigers on Monday.

Cano is not the first Mariner to deal with a significant stomach ailment. Franklin Gutierrez, once a rising star, suffered from debilitating irritable bowel syndrome which caused him to miss games between 2011 and 2013. Gutierrez recently returned to the Mariners after sitting out the 2014 season with a different health problem.

Cano, meanwhile, said he does not want to use his stomach condition as an excuse for his substandard play, and he understands why people don't want to hear excuses from a $240 million player.

"When things go well, people like everything you do," Cano said. "When things don't go well, people look for 1,001 explanations, and they don't understand you're a human being.

"Sometimes I play without any strength or energy, but you have to play, give the best of yourself. Some people may say, 'Cano, he's listless.' But (the energy) is not the same."

Brewers put RHP Garza on DL

The Milwaukee Brewers placed struggling right-hander Matt Garza on the 15-day disabled list Monday because of shoulder tendinitis.

The team recalled reliever Corey Knebel from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Garza is 4-10 with a 5.55 ERA in 17 games (16 starts) this season, and he has a 6.67 ERA in his last 10 games.

He was scheduled to start Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves, but rookie Tyler Cravy, who was recalled on Friday, will start instead. Cravy was 7-5 with a 3.79 ERA in 14 starts for Colorado Springs. He started for the Brewers on June 2 in St. Louis, pitching seven innings in a loss.

Yonkers: Tuesday 7/7 Analysis
By Brewster Smith

MEET STATS: 111 - 567 / $794.50 BEST BETS: 12 - 49 / $51.50

Best Bet: MAESTRO BLUE CHIP (10th)

Spot Play: IM NOT VANILLA (5th)

Race 1

(3) BIG SECRET Gelding got the job done down the road last out in his Maryland finale. Fits well in here and two straight is not out of the question. (6) VANGURA has scored in his last four tries. (1) MASTERSON should be right there from the fence.

Race 2

(7) APOSTLES CREED gets serious class relief. Trotter can boss this group at his best. (1) VOLCANIC MATTER moves to the rail slot and that should help his cause. (3) LE TISSIER could make some noise down the lane.

Race 3

(1) SIR SAMS Z TAM seems to have a fondness for the inside slot. Gelding is poised to take this. (7) WESTERN PIONEER has fine speed; big threat. (8) GOLD COAST MUSCLE post hurts but with his speed he can be a factor in here.

Race 4

(3) EXPLOSIVE ACTION Trotter has every right to mow these down with the right trip. (1) ITZAZIAM Good tactical speed that will put this guy in the mix. (5) AS YALL LIKE IT Upstate invader closed strongly last out for win honors.

Race 5

(3) IM NOT VANILLA Fits with these and get a cozy slot to work with; main factor. (2) MADO DREAM moves down in class and figures to make some noise in here. (1) FLAMING YANKEE should do much better from the rail.

Race 6

(1) REV IT NOW is on a roll scoring his second straight victory. Retains the rail slot and might keep on his winning ways. (5) LIMITLESS put in a nice qualifier at Pocono last time around. (6) WINWOOD SCOUT is not out of this by far.

Race 7

(5) CAVIART LUCA Gelding went down the road for all the glory last time out. Stays at this level and can boss these for his second straight score. (6) ARQUE HANOVER is seeking his first victory and could be right in the mix. (1) HANDS OFF FRANK Sharp in victory last time out at Pocono; watch out.

Race 8

(1) JACKIE GOLDSTEIN Gelding is knocking at the door. Has the rail and Brennan gets the call; Player. (3) DREAMS OF THUNDER is on the dropdown and could make some noise in this event. (2) MASSACAIA also moves down the scale; don't overlook.

Race 9

(4) VALLEY GLIDER is seeking his first victory and this might be a perfect slot for this trotter to get back into the winner's circle. (6) CELEBRITY BLUECHIP needs a better trip then his latest; possible. (3) BRANDOS MUSCLE MAN could have a say with this group.

Race 10

(5) MAESTRO BLUE CHIP is on the dropdown and has tactical speed; ready to boss these with Brennan. (2) WYGANT PRINCESS just got up for win honors last out. (6) MESMERIZED Pocono invader made his latest a winning one.

Race 11

This could be a good spot for (3) SCHLIM SCHLAMMA to put her best foot forward against these. (1) MOJITO AS has fine speed and the rail slot can help her chances; big threat. (4) SS POSEIDON just got up last time out for the victory.

Race 12

Will go back with (1) TONY CHEESECAKE for top this group at his best. (2) TWIN B TENACIOUS is knocking at the door based on his two tries. (7) MY NAME IS SAM could have a say in the outcome.

Mohawk: Tuesday 7/7 Analysis
By Garnet Barnsdale

Race 4 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

EARLY PICK 4:

7,8/2,8/2,3,4,9/2,4,9 = $48

LATE PICK 4: 2,4,9/1,5,6/2,3,5,9/10 = $36

MEET STATS: 156 - 495 / $892.40 BEST BETS: 20 - 44 / $71.10

SPOT PLAYS: 6 - 42 / $53.20

Best Bet: UNIQUE BARAN (10th)

Spot Play: P L INDYANACA (1st)

Race 1

(3) P L INDYANACA made a bold move to the front in the third 1/4 last time and opened up a big lead then couldn't hold off the logical favorite who closed with a flourish late. A similar move likely gets it done vs. this group. (6) STRIKING CHEETAH had gait issues in both pari-mutuel starts but performed much better with trotting hopples on in two qualifiers in June. She uses that equipment here and a dramatic improvement isn't out of the question. (8) LINDY ON THE ROCKS ships in from New Jersey and goes for a hot trainer/driver combo but is likely overbet off her times recorded in the last two miles. She can compete here but is far from a cinch.

Race 2

(3) VEGAS ROCKS has found his level in this conditioned claimer and shoots for a third straight win. Christoforou knows how to time this gelding's move perfectly and he will be tough here. (6) BELIEVEINYOURMACH when last in claimers won two straight easily out of town. The class relief gives him a big shot to take these a long way on the engine. (8) LMC NUKULAR STRIKE has been the model of consistency in similar classes at the B tracks but will need to find more late speed to crack the exacta here.

Race 3

(2) RENEGADE MAGIC has recorded two solid wins in four starts this year and broke stride in the other two. She is obviously one of the best fillies in here - if she minds her manners. (6) MUSCLE KIT had an uncharacteristic break in stride at the start last week as the big chalk. She is the main challenger to the choice if on gait throughout. (3) JUDY THE BEAUTY has shown improvement the past three starts and should sit a good trip near the front here.

Race 4

(7) RIGHTLY SAID is 2 for 2 this year having won twice in Quebec. Now she ships west, moves into the barn of last year's 'O Brien Award-winning trainer and faces a group that is 0 for 37 in 2015. She should be competitive right away vs. these; top call. (8) MACH MAGIC tried the front end last week and beat all but one. This one is bred too well to be a maiden for much longer. (2) GOT SOME SPARK has been showing improved late spark in her miles and has a legitimate chance to upset here.

Race 5

(8) MYLITTLESTARSHINE keeps getting closer to that elusive maiden win and from this post it wouldn't be a shock to see Zeron try to send her down the road instead of relying on cover. She merits top call here off here recent form. (2) LMC MASS OAK floated out for position, moved to the front before the half then tired late to just lose the show photo to the choice. He is the main threat in a field with few contenders. (4) STOKED was out the route last time and still beat half the field. He can be an exacta factor with an easier trip.

Race 6

(2) CORSICA HALL, despite missing 4 weeks action, set some big splits for this class and only tired late. He should be fitter and gets top billing. (4) ABSOLUTLY OFFICIAL closed strongly from far back but there was one closing even faster that he couldn't match. There should be plenty of speed to chase here. (9) R U MACHIN ME took a new life's mark last week after powering to the top in the second 1/4 and is too sharp too ignore.

Race 7

(4) HOMEN DRY got too far back last time on too much cover but was closing fastest. He gets a better post to work with and should be on the move much earlier here. (9) GAME ON HANOVER was out most of the mile and finished just behind the choice. She is sharp but will need a bit of luck from out there. (2) MYSTERY BET won for the second time straight since returning from a break now has missed a month's action. He is dangerous, obviously, but the gaps in between his races are a cause for concern.

Race 8

(5) INTENDED STYLE showed a new dimension last week when powering up off cover in the lane to take a new life's mark at age 10. He was options leaving from the middle of the gate here as he moves from one high % barn to another off the claim. (1) CASIMIR LOW GEAR set the table for the choice and was game right to the wire. He too has used varying styles with success and will be tough here. (6) WALKS OF LIFE has shown big speed on occasion and if he tries to give this field the slip on the final turn it might just work.

Race 9

(9) GRANA PADANNO exploded past his rivals in a 27 2/5 third 1/4 Thursday night and powered away to a big win at a huge price. Back in four days in the same class he looks formidable. (3) MADMAN HALL closed late to grab 2nd-place money in an OSS Gold last week and has been improving his late speed. He looks like the main threat. (5) BIG RICH was on excess cover that couldn't keep to a loose leader and did well to close as much as he did. He will likely be third choice here which would make him playable on the win end.

Race 10

(10) UNIQUE BARAN, winner of 4 of his last 5, was claimed by trainer Stewart last time. This is the third time he has haltered him this year. The past two times he has won two straight by open lengths on both occasions before getting claimed; top call. (5) VAL AMERICA closed in :54 flat in his first start off the claim and looks like the main foe to the choice. (7) SLIGHT TOUCH dropped to this class and was a good first-over 2nd to the choice. He should get a major share here. (6) CROWN ISLE showed little vs. the choice last time but has a better chance to share here leaving from the middle of the gate. (1) GOLDSTAR RAIDER qualified decently enough to close for a late share here.

Wimbledon: Women's quarters have American flair
By THE SPORTS XCHANGE

Serena Williams topped sister Venus to reach the Wimbledon quarterfinals, and Andy Murray advanced to the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the eighth consecutive year, defeating Ivo Karlovic 7-6 (7), 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 on Monday at the All England Club in London.

No. 2-seeded Roger Federer and No. 4-seeded Stan Wawrinka also advanced to the quarterfinals with victories, but top-seeded Novak Djokovic finds himself in a struggle.

Djokovic lost the first two sets to 14th-seeded Kevin Anderson in tiebreakers before rallying to win the next two sets 6-1, 6-4. The match was suspended by darkness at that point, with the fifth set to be played Tuesday.

Serena Williams beat her big sister, Venus, on Centre Court to improve to 15-11 in 26 career meetings between the American women. Serena Williams won 6-4, 6-3 and has a Grand Slam winning streak of 25 matches. Serena Williams last played Venus Williams on grass at the 2012 London Olympics and won 6-1, 6-2.

"It's hard to feel excited about (beating) someone you root for all the time no matter what and who you love so much and she's your best friend in the world," Serena said of playing her older sister. "It's never easy but you just play for the competition and enjoy the moment."

Up next for Williams in her quest to win four consecutive Grand Slam events is Victoria Azarenka. Azarenka beat 18-year-old Belinda Bencic of Switzerland 6-2, 6-3, but is 0-9 against Williams in Grand Slam events.

Three American women, including Williams, are in the quarterfinals. CoCo Vandeweghe and Madison Keys won to reach the final 16. Vandeweghe will next face fourth-seeded Maria Sharapova, who won Monday to advance to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2011.

CFL underdogs and Unders have oddsmakers on their toes in Week 3
By JASON LOGAN

The CFL was a one-sided league in 2014, with the West dominating the East. That may not be the case in 2015, and early underdog bettors are making plenty of bacon – Canadian bacon that is – two weeks in.

Entering Week 3 of the schedule, CFL underdogs are an unblemished 7-0 ATS (8-0 ATS if you got Hamilton as a dog instead of pick'em versus Winnipeg in Week 2) with six of those paydays coming from East Division teams covering the spread against squads from the West Division. In fact, the East holds a 5-1 SU edge over the West after going 12-28 SU in non-divisional clashes last season.

“Bettors generally like to back favorites and when you combine that with the West's dominance from last season, it is no wonder that these early results have been unexpected,” renowned CFL oddsmaker Randall “The Handle” .

Week 2 featured four non-divisional matchups and all four went to teams from the East. Hamilton knocked off Winnipeg 52-26 after closing as big as a 1.5-point underdog at most books, Montreal dropped defending Grey Cup champ Calgary 29-11 as a 9.5-point home dog, Ottawa stunned B.C. 27-13 as a 3-point home pup, and Toronto capped the week with a 42-40 OT win in Saskatchewan as a field-goal underdog.

The Week 3 slate has three of its four games between non-divisional opponents, with Ottawa at Edmonton, Montreal at Winnipeg, and Toronto at Calgary. Randall says this week’s CFL spreads will not be shaded toward this trend but he does say he’ll be closely monitoring the betting patterns for Week 3 action.

“It truly is a small sample although we cannot ignore some of the things we are seeing,” he says. “We will gauge both the teams competing and the marketplace but it remains business as usual. As a linemaker, my objective is always to draw good two-way action and week to week action is a component.”

“Faves will start covering some games at some point but no one knows when that may start,” he adds. “We'll see if action dwindles at all this week or if bettors feel that this is the week where things start to balance out. Lines have been sent out. We'll see how it goes.”

Sportsbooks aren't complaining, that's for sure. As Randall mentioned, the betting market usually backs the favorite which means all those underdog ATS victories have opened CFL betting season in style for bookmakers. However, while they are celebrating that profitable kickoff to 2015, they do expect this trend to balance out in the coming weeks.

"Underdogs can be a good bet early in the season in any football league really. With all of the roster changes, there is a bit of an adjustment period for both the books and the bettors to get a feel for how the teams will actually perform," Greg Sindall said. "7-0 ATS is definitely not normal though. It’s been pretty good for the book though since the favorites usually see more action in any sport."

Another trend, which has carried over from last season, is the rate Unders have cashed in for total bettors. So far, through two weeks, CFL games have finished 3-5 Over/Under – on the heels of the 2014 season in which CFL games went 34-51 O/U on the year for a 60 percent winning rate for Under players.

Entering 2015, the CFL changed rules regarding pass interference and punt returns, hoping to jumpstart scoring following a 2014 campaign that saw team’s average scoring drop from 26.21 points per game in 2013 to just 22.74 points. So far in 2015, CFL teams are averaging 26.18 points per game but that increase in production hasn’t paid out for the Over.

“Scoring was down a year ago and not too much has changed, despite the rule changes. That said, the new rules are creating more opportunities for scoring but teams have not taken full advantage quite yet,” Randall says. “A slew of quarterback injuries could be a contributing factor. Again, we'll monitor and respond accordingly.”

As of the third week of the CFL calendar, more than half of the league’s teams are missing their designated No. 1 quarterback with Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Saskatchewan, and now Winnipeg - QB Drew Willy questionable for Friday’s home stand against the Alouettes – looking down the depth chart at pivot.

Books have started releasing Week 3 odds with the Eskimos opening as 5-point home faves against Ottawa, Montreal opening +3.5 at Winnipeg, BC opening as a 3.5-point home fave against Saskatchewan and the Argos +6.5 at the Stampeders.

The CFL trend you'll have to see to believe
Andrew Caley

It really is the dog days of summer. Or at least it is up north in the Canadian Football League.

We are two weeks into the CFL season and underdogs are a perfect 7-0 against the spread and maybe even more impressive, they are 6-1 straight up.

Not only are dogs covering, they are doing so with ease, covering the spread by an average of 13.71 points per game.

The only favorite to win straight up was the Calgary Stampeders back in Week 1, when they topped the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 24-23 as 6-point favorites.

With the dogs dominating and more quarterback injuries (Winnipeg starter Drew Willy suffered a concussion this week), it's no surprise the lines for Week 3 are currently off the board.

# 2 RENEGADE MAGIC 5/2

# 6 MUSCLE KIT 4/1

# 7 ALLIES GIFT 5/1

RENEGADE MAGIC sure does look ready to dominate. Could beat this group, just look at the TrackMaster Speed Rating - 79 - from her last showing. Saftic fits this interesting entrant's style perfectly. They've enjoyed some magnificent results when working with one another. MUSCLE KIT - With one of the most competitive drivers in terms of crossing the wire first, don't count this filly out of the contest. Hands down the best position at Mohawk Racetrack is the 6. The win percent is very good. ALLIES GIFT - This nice horse looks strong. Check out the 81 avg TrackMaster speed fig. Good for a win wager just off the stellar prior class statistics. Have to like this race horse.

# 4 JOE HILL 3/1

# 7 GRATIAN HANOVER 7/2

# 2 ARTSMAH 9/2

JOE HILL has a very good shot to take this competition. Comes into this contest with very good TrackMaster class figures relative to the group of animals - take a good look. This standardbred could get the ultimate prize here beginning from the Pocono Downs 4 hole. This harness racer and Kakaley have some sort of connection going. In the money statistic for this duo is high. GRATIAN HANOVER - He's competing in good form, recording substantial TrackMaster Speed Ratings. An excellent pick. The number crunching team gives this interesting entrant a very good chance to take this race, class figures are tops in the group. ARTSMAH - Battling strongly, earned a very promising TrackMaster Speed Rating in his most recent race (88). Hamilton knows this race horse well. Outstanding in the money record when starting with one another.

RECOMMENDED CHOICES

The Walker Group Picks

# 5 BUBBA'S BIG SHOW 9/2

# 2 PRINCE NEFF 5/2

# 3 HURRICANE BAY 7/2

My choice in this event is BUBBA'S BIG SHOW. Will make a strong showing versus this field of horses. Recorded a solid speed figure last time out. Has very good Equibase Class Figures relative to this group - worth a look. PRINCE NEFF - Boasts formidable speed figures on average overall when measured up against the rest of this group. This gelding with Molina in the irons makes him a solid contender. HURRICANE BAY - Ohallaron has this gelding running well and is a respectable selection based on the respectable Equibase speed figs earned in route races recently. Win percentage under similar conditions may be the key for this gelding.

RECOMMENDED CHOICES

The Walker Group Picks

# 8 BROOK'S BAY B 8/1

# 10 HOOSIER CHROME 15/1

# 3 CHIPSANDSLOTS 4/1

BROOK'S BAY B is the most respectable bet in this affair especially at a long price. Sire -Perfect Circle- has produced progeny who have done strongly in their first attempts. Good chance to finish in the top three as sire's offspring have been travelling admirably as of late. HOOSIER CHROME - Sire -Mr. Mabee- has produced progeny who have done soundly in their first starts.
