KEY STAT: Italy have conceded less than two goals in each of their last five matches

EXPERT VERDICT: Uruguay dug deep to seal maximum points against England but need another victory to seal a place in the last 16 and come up short against Italy in Natal. Big matches tend to bring the best out of the Italians, who are capable of playing much better than they did against Costa Rica.

RECOMMENDATION: Italy

KEY STAT: Costa Rica have kept just one clean sheet in their last 14 games

EXPERT VERDICT: Roy Hodgson's second string players showed up well in a pre-tournament 2-2 draw with Ecuador and can help England sign off their World Cup campaign with a win. Both teams look set to make changes but Costa Rica's lack of squad depth could be exposed.

RECOMMENDATION: England

KEY STAT: Both teams have scored in Ivory Coast’s last ten internationals

EXPERT VERDICT: Greece carved out plenty of chances in a 3-0 loss to Colombia and a few more in a 0-0 draw against Japan, and should be confident of finding the net against Ivory Coast. The Africans haven’t kept a clean sheet in ten matches and have looked vulnerable in both their games to date.

RECOMMENDATION: Both teams to score

KEY STAT: Colombia have kept eight clean sheets in their last 14 matches

EXPERT VERDICT: Colombia were impressive against Greece and Ivory Coast and even though they’ve qualified, this should be another victory. A nine-point haul would also sent out an emphatic message and it’s doubtful Japan – with one goals in two games – have the tools to trouble Colombia, who are unbeaten in nine.

Greece v Ivory Coast

2014 FIFA WORLD CUP

  • Venue: Estadio Castelao, Fortaleza
  • Date: Tuesday 24 June
  • Kick-off: 21:00 BST

TEAM NEWS

Greece's Kostas Katsouranis is banned after his sending off against Japan.
He could be replaced by fellow veteran Georgios Karagounis in a game the Greeks must win to have any chance of reaching the last 16.
Ivory Coast are without Didier Zokora, who serves a one-game ban after amassing two bookings.
His absence could mean Kolo Toure is recalled, while captain and record goalscorer Didier Drogba will also hope to start.
The Ivorians will assess winger Didier Ya Konan, who missed the defeat by Colombia because of a knee injury.
MATCH PREVIEW

In a tournament featuring wonderfully free-flowing football, Greece have largely resisted the urge to shed their defensive shackles.
Yet if they are to reach the last 16 for the first time in their history, they will have to do something they have managed in only one World Cup match to date - score.
In fact, if Japan also win, the Greeks will need to score at least three times - quite an ask given they have netted only twice in their previous eight World Cup games.
Despite losing to Colombia, Ivory Coast's fate is in their own hands, and a win will see them progress to the knockout phase for the first time.
However, a draw would leave them at the mercy of events in Cuiaba. Japan would definitely overhaul them if they beat the Colombians by a two-goal margin (or if they score three more goals on the night).
Much of the build-up to this game has been dominated by the decision of coach Sabri Lamouchi to use Didier Drogba as a substitute in their first two games, with Wilfried Bony instead given a starting role

The debate has partly obscured the impact of former Arsenal winger Gervinho, who was on target against both Japan and Colombia.
Should the 27-year-old AS Roma player score on Tuesday he will enter the history books as the first man to net in three successive World Cup matches for an African nation.
Defeat in Fortaleza would mean elimination for the Ivory Coast. A third successive exit at the group stage would be a sad end for this Ivorian golden generation, particularly Yaya and Kolo Toure, who are mourning the death of brother Ibrahim.
The match could also mark the end of an era for Greece, with coach Fernando Santos leaving his post after the tournament and 37-year-old captain Georgios Karagounis set for international retirement.
The veteran midfielder inspired his side to a shock win against Russia in their final Euro 2012 group match, where the Greeks upset the odds to reach the knockout stage. A repeat performance is required in Fortaleza.
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

  • This is the first time the sides have met.
Greece

  • The Greeks had just 24.7% possession in their 0-0 draw with Japan. Since 1966, only one World Cup match has featured a lower possession figure - that was Greece's defeat to Argentina in 2010, when the Greeks saw just 20% of the ball.
  • Their top passer against Japan was Ioannis Maniatis, who completed just 19 passes - a figure bettered by 10 Japanese players.
  • The Greeks have failed to score in seven of eight World Cup games (W1, D1, L6).
  • Both of their previous goals came against African opposition, although they only netted against Nigeria in 2010 after the Super Eagles were reduced to 10 men.
Ivory Coast

  • Ivory Coast have gone almost a year without keeping a clean sheet. In their most recent nine games, both sides have scored.
  • In their eight previous World Cup matches they have conceded two goals or more on five occasions.
  • They netted in seven of those games, but scored the opening goal only once.
  • Eight of the Ivorians' 12 World Cup goals have been scored in the final half hour of matches.
  • Five of their last nine World Cup goals have been headers.
  • If Gervinho scores against Greece, he will become the first player to net in three successive World Cup games for an African nation.
  • Centre forward Wilfried Bony failed to touch the ball inside the penalty area during his 60 minutes on the pitch against Colombia

Japan v Colombia
2014 FIFA WORLD CUP

  • Venue: Arena Pantanal, Cuiaba
  • Date: Tuesday 24 June
  • Kick-off: 21:00 BST

TEAM NEWS

Japan coach Alberto Zaccheroni must choose whether to recall midfielder Shinji Kagawa, who was dropped to the bench against Greece.
Playmaker Yasuhito Endo will also hope to start after cameos in the first two group matches.
Colombia may rest key players as they are already through to the last 16.
Captain Mario Yepes could miss out with a muscle injury, while striker Carlos Bacca is likely to be unavailable because of a similar problem.
Holding midfielder Carlos Sanchez would miss the last 16 if booked, so Alexander Mejia is set to deputise for him.
MATCH PREVIEW

Japan's hopes of reaching the last 16 for the third time in four World Cups will end unless they can record a first tournament win against South American opposition.
But even if they do get the better of a Colombia side already assured of their place in the knockout stage, Japanese hopes could be scuppered by news from Fortaleza, where a win for Ivory Coast would mean the Blue Samurai bow out.
Japan's patient build-up play has so far earned them precious little reward in Brazil. They enjoyed 55.7% possession in their opening defeat to the Ivorians, and a remarkable 74.2% versus Greece on Thursday.

Yet in those matches they registered just six shots on target, and one goal - scored by Keisuke Honda 16 minutes into their World Cup campaign.
Since then they have gone 164 minutes without scoring - despite facing 10 men for the majority of their match against the Greeks.
In contrast, the Colombians had under 50% possession in both of their games so far, but have shown real cut and thrust when on the ball, scoring five times.
Their form has been all the more impressive given the loss of several key players to injury prior to the tournament, such as Falcao, Luis Perea, Edwin Valencia and Aldo Ramirez.
That restricts the options of coach Jose Pekerman, who desperately needs key men such as James Rodriguez, Juan Cuadrado and Mario Yepes to stay fit. The Argentine will be sorely tempted to rotate his squad in Cuiaba, and his decision could be influenced by the final matches in Group D, which take place a few hours earlier.
The Colombians are in pole position to win their group, which would see them meet the Group D runners-up at the Maracana on Saturday.
But with surprise package Costa Rica currently leading that group, the runners-up could well be Italy or Uruguay, perhaps reducing the incentive for Los Cafeteros to top their section.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head

  • Colombia are unbeaten in their two previous games against Japan.
  • They beat them 1-0 in the group stage of the 2003 Confederations Cup. The sides also drew 0-0 in a friendly in Japan in 2007.
Japan

  • The Blue Samurai have never beaten a South American side at a World Cup. They lost 1-0 to Argentina in 1998, 4-1 to Brazil in 2006 and drew 0-0 with Paraguay in 2010 (subsequently losing in a penalty shoot-out).
  • Keisuke Honda has had a direct involvement in four of Japan's last five World Cup finals goals (three goals, one assist).
  • He is the first Japanese player to score at two separate World Cups.
Colombia

  • This is the first time Colombia have won more than one match at a World Cup, and they have already equalled their record for goals scored at the tournament (five).
  • Juan Cuadrado has assisted three of Los Cafeteros' five goals in Brazil.
  • Colombia are unbeaten in their last nine games (W5, D4) since losing 2-0 in Uruguay last September.
  • James Rodriguez has scored in his last four appearances for Colombia, including their two World Cup matches. He needs one more goal to become Colombia's top scorer in World Cup history.
  • Reserve goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon could become the oldest player to feature in a World Cup match. He celebrates his 43rd birthday on Saturday. The current record is held by Roger Milla, who was 42 years and 39 days old when he faced Russia at the 1994 World Cup.

Costa Rica v England

[h=2]2014 FIFA WORLD CUP[/h]
  • Venue: Estadio Mineirao, Belo Horizonte
  • Date: Tuesday 24 June
  • Kick-off:17:00 BST

[h=2]TEAM NEWS[/h]Eliminated England have made nine changes to the side that lost to Uruguay for their final World Cup Group D match against Costa Rica.
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has been omitted, with Daniel Sturridge the lone striker.
Ben Foster replaces Joe Hart in goal, while James Milner, Frank Lampard, Ross Barkley, Jack Wilshere and Adam Lallana are brought into midfield.
Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw come into the defence.
Of the 11 players that Hodgson selected for England's defeats by Italy and Uruguay, only Sturridge and centre-back Gary Cahill have kept their places.
West Brom keeper Foster, 31, is set to make his first competitive appearance for the national side since the 3-0 win over Belarus in 2009.
Cahill is the only one of the four defenders playing in front of Foster who has appeared in the tournament so far while 18-year-old Shaw will make his competitive debut.
Lampard, who is to captain the side in the absence of Steven Gerrard, will win his 106th cap, while Milner's start will be the Manchester City midfielder's first appearance at these finals.

Barkley, Wilshere and Lallana have all featured off the bench but this will be a first start in a major tournament for all three.
Costa Rica, who need only a point to guarantee winning the group, will rest several first-team regulars.
Joel Campbell and Bryan Ruiz are among those expected to miss out, with Marcos Urena starting up front.
[h=2]MATCH PREVIEW[/h]As if to rub salt into the wounds, England's final act at the 2014 World Cup comes in Belo Horizonte, the scene of one of their greatest humiliations: a 1-0 defeat to the then-amateur United States at the 1950 World Cup.
When the draw was made, this fixture was earmarked as a chance to perhaps banish those 1950 memories and create happier ones.
However, the venue could now punctuate English football history as the place where they lose three World Cup group games for the first time.
With Barkley and Shaw getting their first competitive starts, it also now marks a new chapter.
Roy Hodgson believes his side's performances, if not results, have created a platform for their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
"I believe England have a very strong basis for a team," the manager said. "It's very young. These players within the space of two years will get better and stronger as an England team."
Hodgson is looking forward to seeing how the midfield partnership of Arsenal's Jack Wilshere and Everton youngster Ross Barkley shows up against the Costa Ricans.
He said: "This is the chance for them to really show they are good players. They are playing in a game where a lot of other young players and they can go out and show the faith and hope we have that these boys are really going to develop in justified."

Hodgson, meanwhile, admitted both he and England had learned a cruel lesson.
"I have learned this level is unbelievably unforgiving," said Hodgson of defeats by Italy and Uruguay. "I have learned a moment of sheer misfortune can throw people into a realm of despair you don't know is even possible."
England's pain is Costa Rica's gain. The Central Americans are arguably the story of the World Cup, having qualified with a game to spare. At a time when Harry Redknapp has questioned English players' desire to play for their country, especially in friendlies, it is perhaps worth noting this will be the Ticos' 30th game in 18 months.
Assistant manager Paulo Wanchope said: "The first thing is to manage our emotions. We've already qualified but it is important to look forward, it's important to keep growing as a team."
Belo Horizonte translates into English as beautiful horizon, something that felt a little ironic now as it did back in 1950 given the state of English football and the mood of the nation.
England, of course, recovered from that humiliation to be crowned world champions 16 years later. Might another another beautiful horizon await in the coming years?
[h=2]MATCH FACTS[/h]Head-to-head

  • Costa Rica and England have never met previously.
Costa Rica

  • Costa Rica have played seven World Cup matches against European sides, beating Sweden 2-1 and Scotland 1-0 in 1990 and defeating Italy 1-0 in their last game during the current tournament. They have also recorded one draw and three defeats.
  • The Ticos are the third North or Central American country to have reached the knockout stages at more than one World Cups, after USA and Mexico. They had previously qualified for the knockout stage in 1990.
  • Costa Rica have scored at least once in nine of their last 10 World Cup matches.
  • Michael Umana could make his sixth World Cup appearance, which would equal the Costa Rican record held by Luis Marin, Mauricio Solis, Paulo Wanchope, Ronald Gomez and Walter Centeno.
England

  • England have been eliminated at the initial group stage for the first time since the 1958 World Cup.
  • This is the first time England have lost their first two matches at a World Cup.
  • The only World Cup in which England failed to win a game was 1958 (D3, L1).
  • England have won one of their last seven World Cup matches (D3, L3), a 1-0 success over Slovenia in the group stage four years ago.
  • They have conceded eight goals in their last three World Cup games, as many as the previous 14 games combined.
  • England have played four World Cup matches against Concacaf nations, winning two and drawing and losing one.

Italy v Uruguay

[h=2]2014 FIFA WORLD CUP[/h]
  • Venue: Estadio das Dunas, Natal
  • Date: Tuesday 24 June
  • Kick-off: 17:00 BST

[h=2]TEAM NEWS[/h]Italy coach Cesare Prandelli is under pressure to make changes, and striker Ciro Immobile is likely to start.
Daniele De Rossi looks set to miss out with a calf injury but defender Mattia De Sciglio is ready to return from a thigh problem.
Uruguay may name the same side that beat England, with Luis Suarez fit to start once again.
Captain Diego Lugano remains an injury doubt, but Maxi Pereira is unavailable once again after suspension.
[h=2]MATCH PREVIEW[/h]Italy's superior goal difference means they need only a draw in Natal to accompany Costa Rica through to the last 16. They managed exactly that against Uruguay at last summer's Confederations Cup, going on to win the third-place play-off on penalties after extra-time.
With fatigue reported following their second group matches, how both nations respond could be the deciding factor. Whereas a Luis Suarez-inspired Uruguay beat England, Italy were wilting in the early afternoon sun against the impressive Costa Ricans.

This is a must-win game for Uruguay, but Oscar Tabarez's men are often best with their backs to the wall. He said: "I have a group who are used to resisting pressure and who react to it in a good way.
"They've (Italy) been world champions four times and we have a lot of respect for them. It will be a tough challenge for us but I believe we'll have our chances."
Their last World Cup meeting was at Italia 90, the hosts running out 2-0 winners at the last-16 stage, helped in large by Toto Schillaci's stunning opener from the edge of the penalty box. Tabarez was Uruguay's coach that day too. Now 67, he would dearly love to get the better of the Azzurri this time around.
Whereas all the pressure is perceived to be on Uruguay, Group D's top seeds, it's Italy who are feeling the heat from back home. They crashed out at the group stage four years ago as defending champions, and another early tournament exit will not be easily forgotten.
Italian coach Cesare Prandelli realises the importance of the match and has called it: "The most important match of my professional career."
He has warned his side national pride is at stake: "In terms of character and competitiveness we will have to match them. Uruguay have more of a sense of being patriotic than us, as a nation. We need to go out on the pitch and show we are representing a country. If we lose a match, it must be because the opposition have been better."
[h=2]MATCH FACTS[/h]Head-to-head

  • Italy and Uruguay have played each other nine times. The South Americans lead by three wins to two.
  • Uruguay lost on penalties when they last faced Italy, in the third-place play-off at the 2013 Confederations Cup.
  • Uruguay have met Italy twice at World Cup finals, failing to score on either occasion: 0-0 in 1970 and 0-2 in 1990.
Italy

  • Italy have lost only three of 19 World Cup games against South American opposition - a first round game against Chile in 1962, the 1970 final and the 1978 third-place match against Brazil.
  • Italy have been caught offside 18 times in their opening two group games, twice as many times as Uruguay (nine).
  • The Azzurri were eliminated in the group stage at four successive finals between 1950 and 1966; this sequence is the last time they have failed to make it out of back-to-back World Cup groups.
Uruguay

  • Uruguay have missed out on the World Cup knockout stages only three times in 11 previous attempts. The last time was back in 2002.
  • This is their 50th game at the World Cup. Only eight countries have played more (W19, D12, L18)
  • Uruguay's win over England was their first against a European team at the World Cup in 44 years since a 1-0 extra-time win over the Soviet Union in 1970. They had gone 15 straight World Cup matches without a victory over a European nation.
  • Uruguay have scored three goals from just five shots on target so far.
  • Luis Suarez has netted five times in his seven World Cup appearances.
  • Edinson Cavani has played a hand in three of Uruguay's last five goals at the World Cup (two goals and one assist).

The Walker Group Picks

# 7 FOXIE'S SLY WON 9/5

# 4 MARVELOUS MIA 8/1

# 1 SUNDAY DREAMS 5/1

FOXIE'S SLY WON has a respectable shot to take this race. I like the jock on this mare - very strong chance to win the outing. Looks formidable versus this group and should be one of the front-runners. Displays reliable speed figures on average overall when measured up against the rest of this group of horses in this race. MARVELOUS MIA - This mare is a solid contender based on her earnings per start in dirt sprint races. Campbell is very serious with this one, wheeling her back almost immediately. SUNDAY DREAMS - Has run soundly when running a dirt sprint race. Booker has her trained soundly to break speedily out of the starting gate.

# 3 ROADHOG 2/1

# 1 KELLY ROCK 5/1

# 5 MANAGED ACCOUNT 5/2

I think ROADHOG is a strong choice. The Equibase speed fig of 111 from his latest contest looks very good in here. With a nice Equibase class figure average of 111, has one of the top class advantages in this group of animals. Has run soundly when racing a dirt route race. KELLY ROCK - Has a solid shot here if you like back class. MANAGED ACCOUNT - Exhibits the look of a lucrative play, averaging a solid 106 speed fig which is one of the best in this field. With a quite good 110 speed rating last time out, will clearly be a factor in this race.

#4 FRANK QUAY (ML=3/1)

FRANK QUAY - A thoroughbred coming back this quickly after a solid effort is a good signal.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1 FOREVER SHARP (ML=8/5), #2 BIG AMOS (ML=5/2), #3 CRACKINDOVEHUNT (ML=8/1),

FOREVER SHARP - Hard to put your dough on the win end of any horse that finishes second and third as regularly as this horse does. This steed has not emerged victorious here today in 10 starts. Little chance he wins today. BIG AMOS - This pony ran a disappointing speed figure in the last race. He shouldn't improve and will probably suffer defeat today running that figure. CRACKINDOVEHUNT - This horse hasn't been hitting the board in either of his last two races.

#2 CINNAMONJELLYBEAN (ML=8/1)
#5 MAKER'S MIKA (ML=5/2)

CINNAMONJELLYBEAN - Lone speed horses can be tough to run down. Here's a lone front-runner facing sluggish sorts today. Bisono was aboard this filly last time out and was impressed enough to take the horse right back. She finished second May 24th, but was well ahead of the third horse. Have to give this filly a fair chance. Ran a solid effort last time out within the last 30 days. Each one of this filly's recent finish positions has been progressively better. MAKER'S MIKA - Have to give this filly a chance. Ran a sharp race in the last race within the last month or so. Ran a winning race Jun 3rd, but just couldn't catch the winner. This jock and trainer are consistent together. Win percentage when teamed up is extremely hard to beat. Lasix can take some getting used to, especially for a filly. They usually hit stride the second time using it, like we have with this horse.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1 IMAGE (ML=7/2), #3 WHERETHERE'SFIRE (ML=9/2), #6 LUNA TIME (ML=6/1),

IMAGE - Improbable that the speed rating she garnered on Jun 3rd will be good enough in this event. WHERETHERE'SFIRE - Hasn't hit the board in any short distance affairs recently. Not probable to see her doing it this time around either. Last viewed on September 7th at Parx Racing. Probably needs to do some racing into form. Most unsatisfactory rating last time around the track at Parx Racing at 5 1/2 furlongs. Don't believe this questionable contender will improve too much in today's event. LUNA TIME - I predict a disappointing effort for this animal in this contest.

DRF HARNESS

Race 8 - $10,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Jeremey’s $1 Pick Four Play:

5,6 / 5,7 / 2,3,5,6 / 1,7 = $32

Best Bet: JULIE’S DAVINCHIE (7th)

Spot Play: FOLLOW A DREAM (5th)

Race 1

(1) JB'S GOLDEN BOY has yet to be competitive but that could change with the rail against a suspect bunch. (2) PAPA GRANDE should be in line for a nice trip close to the front and is the only horse in the field with a win on the year. (3) UBETTERUBETTERUBET could be sitting on a better effort second start back after the scratch.

Race 2

(4) SOAKING UP THE SUN nice-looking pacer has shown a good burst of speed and just needs to be close turning for home. (7) EASTER BAY recovered nicely after an early bobble last out. The 3-year-old will look to make it three straight; short price. (1) IGOTTAGUYFORTHAT showed significant improvement in last start but is probably best used underneath.

Race 3

In a tough race to handicap (7) ROSE RUN NEMO has twice as many wins as the entire field and owns the best closing ability. (4) CHRISTMAS KNIGHT trotted a decent mile prior to the broken equipment but tends to race evenly; command a price. (1) AH STRIKING STRIDE gets the best post in a weak field.

Race 4

(7) ACTION AUBREE ROSA nice-looking filly scored her first win racing gamely last start and looks to have more ability than most of the field. (9) GRAMMA'S STAR well bred 2-year-old was excellent in the qualifier and just needs to find a good spot out of the gate for a nice piece. (1) METRO'S UPTOWNGIRL has some upside making her second career start in a new barn.

Race 5

(4) FOLLOW A DREAM gelding hasn't been in his last two efforts. The pacer was much better a few starts back and could race back to that. (1) WHERE U WAS JAY had no excuse last out controlling everything and should have had more late. The pacer is likely to offer low value in a wide-open race. (5) FEATURE MATCHUP was super last out gunning down the leader off a tough trip; threat.

Race 6

(4) MR ABERDEEN was an easy winner from a tough post and now faces a weaker field. (9) DUNKS BROTHER is probably the only threat to the top choice with a smooth trip. (8) CHAD gets a tough assignment but did show some ability winning a qualifier.

Race 7

(7) JULIE'S DAVINCHIE gets a monster driver change; big chance. (5) MORE IDEAL gelding looks terrible on paper but is making his first start for a new trainer. (4) DO WHAT has yet to win in twenty starts on the year but finds a very suspect bunch.

Race 8

(5) BACKDRAFT HANOVER raced big last out in this class and would be tough with a repeat of that effort. (6) SHADY TOWN bumps down a level and has been pacing faster than most of the field. (2) BOILER BREES could be the sharpest horse in the race but gets sent out for a low percentage pilot.

Race 9

(7) MY JUSTICE races much better forwardly placed and that should be the plan. (5) BROADWAY BOUND well bred trotter makes his second start back off a very long layoff and should show some improvement in a wide-open race. (3) MISS RILEY mare has really disappointed the few times she got easy fractions unable to seal the deal; command a price.

Race 10

(6) LEE A BRYANT went a big effort parked the mile last out. The six-year-old drops in class and just needs a good trip to pop. (2) CMR WINDMACH faces significantly weaker but has not been competitive in a long time; threat. (3) VANISCAPE raced good for the pilot at this level the start prior; fires early.

Race 11

(7) BELLE'S BECKY should offer a much better price than last out and has shown a big burst of speed. (1) HERBEDAONE looks to take heavy tote action down in class and was the driver’s choice. (9) DOUBLE A GLORIA mare faces much weaker and could be sitting on a good effort.

Race 12

In a field that has one combined win on the year (9) MR TAURUS should get to save some ground before making a run late. (4) TYMAL BLING mare needs racing luck and a smooth trip in a very evenly matched field. (5) VESPER AS is usually to far back to make up any ground but that should be different against this bunch.

Race 13

(1) BAY SHARK picks up a good driver change with the best post. (3) ARTISTIC DREAMER went a big three quarters of a mile last out before fading. The 10-year-old veteran just needs to ration out his speed early for his best chance. (4) HALLIN GATOR has consistently hit the board at this level.

Race 14

In a field with few contenders (5) BROTHER BUD owns the best brush if he can stay pacing. (9) JUNE'S SUNNY BOY should offer a fair price and is one of the faster horses. (1) ROBIN DONTGET will look to benefit from the rail but is probably best used underneath.

Race 15

(5) MISS EVA CASH was better last out and gets a much better pilot than the trotting mare is used to. (3) MOMA JEAN'S CROWN comes off a lifetime mark but is very inconsistent; use caution. (7) LADY REV mare owns the most back class but has been racing evenly.

Race 16

(4) DRIVEN TO SUCCEED will look to go coast to coast against a soft bunch. (1) SOUTH PARK KID would be the horse to beat with a different driver; threat. (2) MONTOYA HANOVER has yet to win on the year but has gone some tough trips racing gamely.

Race 4 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet: MUSCLE MATTERS (5th)

Spot Play: PLEASE OKAY (3rd)

Race 1

(1) QUADROPHENIA gets the rail, comes out of the Menary barn and has won two of three career starts. (4) LOVE DETECTIVE closed very well in her latest and gets a much better post position to work with. (8) CAROUSEL HALL has hit the board in six of seven starts this season, is versatile and is a good triactor option.

Race 2

(4) DOCS HOSS has been at his best in recent outings with three wins in his last four starts in this class. (7) LITTLE QUICK has been much better recently and has a patented late kick. He's very capable at this level. (6) WESTERN SENATOR showed a much improved effort last week with a good final quarter. He has the speed and some back class to offer.

Race 3

(10) PLEASE OKAY will have to overcome post 10, but has won four of six this season, including two straight. (4) DIAMONDS FOR LIFE won last week in gate-to-wire fashion and comes from the Steacy barn. (8) LENNY MAC has hit the board in two of her last three starts, is versatile and just missed last start.

Race 4

(10) RG RIPTIDE added lasix last week in the debut for Auciello, which proved to be a difference maker. He's winless from 18 starts this season and is due for a win. (2) FIRE ON THE WATER has been terrific since his return this season, draws inside and put forth a speedy mile last week. (6) CANBEC KINGKAZIMIR comes from the Puddy barn and showed a much improved effort in his latest.

Race 5

(7) MUSCLE MATTERS banked $218K last year, posted two credible qualifiers and looks like the colt to beat. (11) JITTERBUG is fresh off a win by open lengths and has been in top form. (8) TYRONE HAJI comes from Hall of Famer McIntosh, won a Gold event two back and should offer a price.

Race 6

(4) DAMFOOLRMILLIONAIR draws well, raced very well in his season debut last week and likely will be the favourite in here. (2) APHRODITY draws inside, comes out of the Gold Series and won two starts back. (1) CANBEC KADENCE draws inside and should offer a price. She'll need an inside trip and is capable of hitting the triactor.

Race 7

(1) NAKED CITY moves into the Robinson barn, which will drop his price and gets the rail. (6) OK GLADIATOR was a game second last week in a speedy effort. He draws well once again, is versatile and comes from the McNair barn. (4) SHADOW PLACE raced very well last season as a rookie and has posted two solid qualifying efforts in his return.

Race 8

(9) BURNIN MONEY drops out of the Preferred and faces a much easier bunch. (3) FORK split between horses last to finish second with more trot to offer. (5) SMARTY PANTS won last week in a speedy time for trainer Moreau and is capable of the class jump.

Race 9

(8) SEE THE WIND finished fourth in the Goodtimes Trot, continues to improve and comes from the Beaver barn. (6) ENTRANCED will look to get his game face back on following a miscue in his latest. He has the speed, draws well and will get a lot of attention in here. (9) O NARUTAC PERFETTO won in gate-to-wire fashion last start in a Gold event and is a logical option for the triactor.

Race 10

(5) REGAL BABE hasn't won yet this season, but has finished second in five of six starts. He's due! (2) HUNCH MAN was the talk of the tote board last week, but put in a sub-par effort while drifting out eight-wide at the finish. Expect a few equipment changes to him. (8) TITUS SEELSTER banked $40K last year as a rookie, won his latest qualifier and appears ready in his sophomore debut.
