(3) WELCOME WAGON was on his way to an easy victory before a costly break last start. (5) WESTERN GEAR has ability and is probably the only threat to the top choice. (2) NO DRAMA gelding was fortunate last out; use underneath.

Race 2

(2) JJ NEWTON has been on a roll but could be tested early in the mile. (4) WESTERN FELLA has the most upside in the race but should have been a bit better last out. (3) WELLSAIDANDONE didn't miss by much before the broken equipment and could have an outside shot with some improvement.

Race 3

(5) DUCHESS OFNORMANBY made it two straight barely breaking a sweat and finds another suspect field. (1) ROCK ON TRIGGER gets the best post and has shown a decent burst of speed. (6) VISION OF GLORY could use a fast pace to close into for his best chance; use underneath.

(4) ALL NATIVE lightly raced pacer should get a boost of confidence with that last win. The filly finds an inconsistent field. (2) SLOT ARTIST is 0 for her career but has been racing better than his lines show. (6) SUGAR PUFFS is also still a maiden but does make her third start back off a layoff; needs more.

(2) EAGLE JEAN trotting stallion makes his first start off a layoff but the connections horses have been live recently. (1) ALADY FOR SURE adds lasix of the second time but has yet to show much trot. (3) PUTUPYOURDUKES will offer a giant price and could hit the ticket if he can somehow stay trotting.

(2) LAVEC'SGIRL mare takes a big drop in class and gets a huge driver change. (6) IKNOWWHATBOYSLIKE also bumps down in class but has just been racing evenly; use caution. (5) AH STRIKING STRIDE is a candidate to hit the bottom of the ticket.

(8) ACTION AUBREE ROSA three-year-old filly goes for a top barn but does have some question marks coming off a scratch. (7) DO WHAT couldn't get it done from the rail but does find a weak field. (5) ROAN BRUISER faces easier in his second start at the track.

(5) SOAKING UP THE SUN well bred pacer closed nicely from a tough spot last out and should show improvement in his second lifetime start. (9) SWINGING DAVE just got picked off late last race but has been sharp. (2) MJ CRUISER finally showed some interest last out; threat.

(1) TINY MITE mare is dangerous if she stays trotting. (5) FRIDAYSCOMIN had a nice record at the fair tracks last year and comes off a decent qualifier. (8) MISS RILEY does break from time to time but would be the favorite with a better post.

(8) BROTHER BUD has won in this scenario before and will offer a big price; fires early. (9) MONTOYA HANOVER trainer has had a few go some eye-popping miles. (6) WORRIES STAY SMALL is versatile and just needs a patient drive.

"Strong storms" headed for Wrigley Field

When the Chicago Cubs host the New York Yankees Tuesday, the game could be marred by some heavy rainfall.

Ibaka reportedly determined to come back

The Oklahoma City Thunder clearly could not replace Serge Ibaka during Game 1 against the San Antonio Spurs. Ibaka, who has been ruled out of the rest of the playoffs, is not content watching his team struggle while he sits idly by.

Ibaka is "defiant and determined" to come back from his injury and help his team win a championship according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
