MAD: Oh No. This really sucks now as I am opposite you. I am really high on Derek Lowe shutting down Yanks today. He has been great at home, not just this year, but the last three years. Isn't Wells a little hurt in the groin? I have followed you pretty much the last 2 weeks but I wil be on BOSOX-11- and BOSOX Team Total over 4.5

Vegas - Good luck my friend. I see the Yanks hitting Lowe today early and often. I just think the Yanks will snap out of this knuckleball funk.

Madcapper,

Was wondering if you could give me some more info as to why you like this game so much. Want to start the day with a W so any more info would be much appreciated. You like this game more than last night??? Cause I went with you, and they couldn't hit a lick with RISP.

Gecko - The Yankees will be more patient today. They were patient in the first until the Giambi DP and then it seemd like they just got rattled. They could have went up at least 4 runs in the first with the Knucler not moving down. Today, I think, they will pound Lowe early. I really feel they can be up a few runs after 2 innings. Wells pitched brilliantly last time out in the tuff terrain of the metrodome. I think he is coming out today with something to prove and will pitch well enough for the Yankees to win this one.

MC you are the man in bases, and I truly think you have got the regular season down to a science. I have notced you made most of your success during the regular season playing Tier 2 teams. Teams not at the the top, but right near the top. And you Defintley have Team matchups down to science as well.

Baseball is an emotional game, and I have noticed that your empotions have gotten into this post season and also your heart. I understand the logic of picking the yanks today, but as your TOP play thus far. Now I know emotion is talking for you. I could see a play on the over being big today, possibily.

I will bet the total and watch the game as an emotional fan with no wager on the side.

Enjoy....NEWPORT

NEWPORT - I think I have bet against the Yankees more than I have bet on them this post season. I am a Yankees fan, but I am a realistic one. I really do not think Lowe is that good and I think the Yankees will have little trouble scoring off him.

As for being defensive....I don't think I was being defensive. I am just answering everyones questions. I value everyones opinion and I feel its only right to reply to their queries as well.

Thanx for the props NEWPORT.

Good luck on that over!

MC...

Great Yankee call. Just wondering what you thought on the Cubs/Marlins game. I can't get the totals wager you posted above at my book. Any thoughts on Cubs/Marlins or the total of 7. Do you think the Cubbies can cover the -1.5 since taking the cubs straight up is pretty expensive?

Gecko - Sorry, I just read your question now. I like Cubs all the way tonight.

Chicago @ New York
Windy City @ The City that Never Sleeps

with the wind blowing in the odds of cubs run line look tough, as homerun to end game not likely, but good luck, maybe you can get a load of runs in the bottom of 8th
