Tuesday comp play will be for the runs to pile up in the Mile High City as the Phillies and Rockies do battle.
Last night it was a 10-1 final in favor of the Rockies, as the teams have now played all 4 games this year Over the total. That makes 5 of the last 6 played between the clubs having landed Over the posted price.
The Phils have now played 3 of their last 5 games Over the total, and tonight's starter Vincent Velasquez has totally lost his way, as his ERA for his last 3 starts is 12.00!!! All 3 have played Over the total obviously.
Chad Bettis is back for the Rockies after working out of the bullpen for the past month. Bettis has an over 7 home ERA, and 11 of his 14 home starts have played Over the total this year.
Expect the runs to be plated in a big way tonight.
Phillies-Rockies Over the total.

Tuesday comp play release on the Yankees-Rays Under.
Last night was a 4-1 Under to make it 6 in a row in this A.L. East rivalry Under the total. 8 of the last 10 overall between the clubs have also landed Under the total. 9 of the last 11 series meetings played at the Trop have landed Under the total.
Tampa Bay is closing out the season on a series Under run as the Rays enter Tuesday action having played 5 of their last 8 games Under the posted price.
The series Under also happens to be 20-6-1 the last 27 times the Yankees and the Rays have faced one another.
It will be Luis Severino and Jake Faria as your listed pitchers, and Severino did look like his first-half-of-the-season-self with a strong effort against the Boston Red Sox.
Not a lot of hitting tonight.
Stay with the series trends, and go Low in the New York-Tampa Bay game for Tuesday.

My Bonus Play is on the Over in the American League West battle between the Texas Rangers and Angels in Anaheim on Tuesday night. And this one is all about a mismatch between the lineups and the scheduled starting pitchers.
IMPORTANT: As you know every single Run Line play and Total wager will automatically list the scheduled starting pitchers at the time of the wager, and I want you to be sure the following pitchers are the registered starters on your ticket when making your wager: Yovani Gallardo and Matt Shoemaker. If one or both of these pitchers is not going, this is a no-play.
Gallardo steps to the hill after losing his last three starts and is 1-5 with a 7.39 ERA over his last seven starts. Opponents are hitting .328 off him in that stretch, and now he has to pitch on the road against one team he'd probably rather not face. The right-hander has made two starts against the Angels and he is 0-1 with an 8.00 ERA against the Halos.
Meanwhile, Shoemaker is looking for better results than his most recent outing on Sept. 20, when he was tagged for five earned runs over 2 2/3 innings in a losing effort at playoff-bound Oakland. Shoemaker is sporting a 4.91 ERA over 36 2/3 career innings against the Rangers.
Neither pitcher will last long in this one, and this one will soar into double digits.

MLB | Braves vs Mets
Play on: Mets -143 at 5Dimes
My Bonus Play is on the NY Mets at 7:10 ET. The 88-68 Atlanta Braves have clinched the National League East, securing their first postseason berth since 2013 (club had lost 90-plus games each of the last three seasons!). Atlanta will complete its season with a six-game road trip this week, starting in Queens against the New York Mets and ending this weekend in Philadelphia against the Phillies. The Braves hope to build on their slim lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers for the NL's second seed and home-field advantage in the NLDS. However, while the Braves 'sat' on Monday, the Dodgers won and now at 88-69, are just a half-game back of Atlanta. The Mets opened 2018 at 11-1 but the season spiraled out of control during a 5-21 June. The 78-83 Mets took three of four from the Nationals this past weekend and have gone 41-35 since July 1.
Touki Toussaint (2-1, 4.30 ERA) gets the nod for Atlanta and will go up against Noah Syndergaard (12-4, 3.36 ERA). Toussaint is coming the most important outing of his short big-league career, as he struck out eight while allowing two runs in 5 2/3 innings Wednesday to beat St. Louis and snap Atlanta’s four-game losing streak. Here, he makes his sixth appearance and fifth start of 2018 (he has posted a 3.27 ERA with a 1.14 WHIP in his four starts, going 2-1 and the team is 3-1). Syndergaard made only seven starts in 2017 because of injury but in 23 starts this year he has regained his place among the notable starters in MLB. He's averaging 9.3 strikeouts per nine innings and since the All Star break has gone 7-3 in 11 starts with a 3.75 ERA.
The Braves are 47-23 against the NL East this season, after going 103-124 within the division from 2015-17. Yes, the Braves want that No. 2 seed in the National League but they will be giving some of their regulars time off during this final week. Syndergaard has won his last SIX starts at Citi Field and makes it "lucky No. 7" right here!

MLB | Pirates vs Cubs
Play on: Pirates +130 at betonline
Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach MLB Game #955 Tuesday MLB Free Pick Pittsburgh Pirates Money Line (+) @ Chicago Cubs @ 8:05 ET - The Pirates are relishing the role of spoiler here and you know Chris Archer would love to be a part of it. The Pittsburgh right-hander was in the Cubs organization prior to being unloaded to the Rays before the 2011 season. Archer has a solid 3.00 ERA in his 3 starts versus the Cubs in his career. He is coming off of a great start in his most recent outing and the Pirates have won 7 of their last 9 games so Archer should get plenty of run support here. The Cubs Mike Montgomery has solid numbers on the season but opponents are actually hitting nearly .300 against him in his starts at Wrigley Field this season. Chicago is 0-6 in Montgomery's last 6 starts versus divisional opponents. Grab the underdog line value with a highly motivated team and a highly motivated pitcher. Keep in mind, the Pirates are playing with no pressure on them while the Cubs are feeling the pressure of the Brewers breathing down their necks for the NL Central division title. Free Pick PITTSBURGH

MLB | Tigers vs Twins
Play on: Tigers +139 at GTBets
#MLB FREE PICK FROM MIKE LUNDIN
The Detroit Tigers visit the Minnesota Twins Tuesday night for the opener of a three-game series. The Twins have won five of their last seven, but I think the value is on the underdog Detroit in this matchup.
The Twins are expected to use an opener and then hand over the ball to 23 year old Kohl Stewart (2-1, 4.40 ERA). He has made only seven appearances (four starts) in the big leagues and I don't think Minnesota deserves to be this big of a favorite.
Detroit turns to Spencer Turnbull (0-1, 10.80 ERA) who allowed six runs on six hits and a walk through four innings against Detroit last week. It was the 26 year old's first big league start ever, and he should be more composed in this contest. "I'm not worried about it. I'm sure I'll get better from it. I'm trusting myself more than I ever have. I know that I have the stuff. I know that I'm good (enough) to do it. It's just executing and not trying to do too much; just breathing, just calming down." Turnbull said.
Free pick on Detroit Tigers.

MLB | Brewers vs Cardinals
Play on: Cardinals -107 at pinnacle
1 Unit Bonus Play on St. Louis Cardinals -107
The Cardinals only have a half-game advantage over the Rockies right now for the 2nd wild card spot. They need games more than the Brewers right now. And after losing Game 1 to the Brewers Monday, I expect them to win Game 2 tonight. Austin Gomber has been an underrated starter for the Cardinals this season. He is 5-1 with a 3.71 ERA in 10 starts this season, and the Cardinals are 8-2 in those 10 starts. Gio Gonzalez is 3-7 with a 4.73 ERA and 1.42 WHIP in 15 road starts for the Brewers this season. Gonzalez gave up 5 runs in 4 innings to the Cardinals on August 14th in his only start against them this season. Gonzalez is 0-9 in road games vs. an NL team with an OBP of .325 or worse this season. Give me the Cardinals.

MLB | Brewers vs Cardinals
Play on: Cardinals -107 at pinnacle
10* FREE MLB PICK (Cardinals -107)
I'll take my chances here with St Louis at basically a pick'em at home against the Brewers. The Cardinals lost the opener 6-4 on Monday, but are still 6-2 over their last 8 games and this is just too good a price to pass up on St Louis at home. Milwaukee is getting way to much love here with Gio Gonzalez on the mound. Gonzalez has an impressive 1.65 ERA and 0.918 WHIP in his last 3 starts, but all 3 of those starts came at home. Gonzalez is a mere 3-7 with a 4.73 ERA and 1.422 WHIP in 15 road starts this season (4-11 team record). The Cardinals are 9-3 in their last 12 home games against a left-handed starter and 17-7 in their last 24 off a loss. St Louis will send out Austin Gomber and they have won 8 of his first 10 big league starts and are 4-1 in his last 5 against a team with a winning record. Give me the Cardinals -107!

MLB | TEX vs LAA
Play on: UNDER 9 -110
1* Free Pick on Rangers/Angels UNDER 9
We took the Angles/Rangers UNDER 9 on Monday and got an unfortunate push with Texas scoring a run in the top of the 9th to tie it up at 4-4. LA ended up winning 5-4 in 11 innings.
A lot of people are going to be quick to take the OVER on Tuesday, as this doesn't look like a great pitching matchup, but these are two offenses that aren't swinging the bat well. While the two teams combined for 9 runs on Monday, there were just 14 total hits in the game. Texas is hitting just .203 as a team over their last 7 and the Angels are even worse with a .180 average over their last 7.
UNDER is 25-10-3 in the Rangers' last 38 road games against a team with a losing record and 6-2 in their last 8 off a loss. UNDER is also 33-16-3 in the Angels' last 52 games off a win and 8-1 in the last 9 meetings between these two teams in LA. Take the UNDER!

Play on: OVER 9 -105
Dave’s Tuesday Bonus Play:
1* on Rangers/Angels OVER 9
The Key: The starting pitching matchup today warrants this total being higher than 9 runs. There should be plenty of runs scored by both the Angels and Rangers in this one to get OVER the total. Yovani Gallardo has posted a 5.90 ERA in 16 starts this season, a 7.29 ERA in 7 road starts, and a 10.22 ERA in his last 3 starts. Gallardo is 0-2 with a 7.04 ERA in 5 lifetime starts against the Angels. Matt Shoemaker has a 5.48 ERA in 5 starts this season, including an 8.02 ERA in his last 3 starts. Shoemaker is 4-2 with a 4.91 ERA in 7 lifetime starts against Texas. He has yielded 13 earned runs in 10 1/3 innings in his last 3 starts against the Rangers for an 11.33 ERA. Take the OVER.

MLB | A's vs Mariners
Play on: A's -101
Jack’s Free Pick Tuesday: Oakland A’s -101
The Oakland A’s clinched a playoff spot already. However, they can still catch the Yankees for the top wild card spot, which would mean home-field advantage for the wild card game. Look for them to keep it rolling here tonight against a Mariners team that has already been eliminated.
Brett Anderson has performed well for the A’s this season. He is 4-5 with a 3.96 ERA and 1.227 WHIP in 15 starts. Anderson certainly enjoys facing the Mariners, going 8-4 with a 1.76 ERA and 1.096 WHIP In 17 career starts against them. He has allowed just 2 earned runs in 14 innings in his two starts against the Mariners in 2018.
Mike Leake is 10-10 with a 4.10 ERA and 1.259 WHIP in 30 starts for the Mariners this season. Leake gave up 5 earned runs in 6 1/3 innings in his last start against the Astros. And he allowed 6 earned runs in 4 1/3 innings in his last start against A’s back on August 31st.
The A’s are 61-26 in their last 87 games overall. Oakland is 22-5 in its last 27 during Game 2 of a series. The Mariners are 1-5 in their last six home games. The A’s are 4-0 in Anderson’s last four road starts against the Mariners. Bet the A’s Tuesday.

MLB | A's vs Mariners
Play on: A's -101
Oakland won the opener of this series last night to remain a game and a half behind the Yankees for the first Wild Card spot in the American League. The top spot gets to host the Wild Card game next Wednesday so it is a big deal considering both Oakland and New York have been better at home than on the road. Still, Oakland is 14 games over .500 on the highway which is the fourth best road record in all of baseball. The A's are 28-10 in their last 38 games when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game. It was a good season for Seattle but it was eliminated from playoff contention last week and has nothing to get motivated for. The Mariners have lost three straight games at home going back to the previous homestand and they are just seven games over .500 on the season at Safeco Field. Going back, the Mariners are 1-5 in their last six home games against teams with a winning road record. Brett Anderson has been solid since his return to the rotation in July as he has a 3.02 ERA in 11 starts and while he has struggled in his last two road starts, this is one of his favorite parks as he has a 1.20 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in eight starts and one relief appearance. The A's are 6-2 in his last eight starts after scoring five runs or more in their previous game. Mike Leake counters for the Mariners and while he has been solid at home, this is not a good spot. He got shelled by Oakland is his last start against them and with everything on the line, another struggle could take place/Here, we play on road teams when the moneyline is +125 to -125 with a starting pitcher whose WHIP is 1.10 or better over his last 10 games, after two straight games where the bullpen gave up no earned runs. This situation is 69-37 (65.1 percent) over the last five seasons. Play (977) Oakland A's
