Tuesday Bonus Play is the Dodgers and the Reds to play another OVER in the Queen City.
Last night the bats were booming, as Cincy took it 10-6 in a game that easily landed OVER the posted price.
Los Angeles has now played their last pair of games, and 4 of their last 6 games OVER the posted price, while Cincinnati has seen the OVER cash in each of their last 4 games, and 6 of their last 9 overall.
Hyun-Jin Ryu has seen 2 of his last 3 starts play OVER the total, while Luis Castillo has been an OVER lovers delight this season, going 17-11 OVER the total in his 28 assignments for the season.
Let's stay with the offense to keep the runs flowing at Great American Ball Park this Tuesday night.
Dodgers-Reds OVER.

Tuesday comp play on the A's on the Run Line to keep on winning against the O's.
Oakland has already laid claim to the first 3 wins in as many meetings earlier this season at home, 2 of the 3 wins coming by 2 runs.
The A's are in hot-pursuit of the Yankees for that first wild card spot in the A.L., and with wins in 4 straight and 7 of their last 9, I doubt highly they will lose to a Baltimore team that has lost their last 4 games and 8 of their last 9 overall.
Mike Fiers is 4-0 with a 2,94 ERA in his 6 starts since coming over to Oakland, while Alex Cobb comes back after missing a turn with a blister on his pitching hand. Cobb is just 5-15 for the season.
It does not set up well for a happy ending for Orioles fans here on Tuesday at Camden Yards.
Oakland on the Run Line.

When the Tampa Bay Rays acquired Tommy Pham from the St. Louis Cardinals, it was a steal. The Rays built for the future, and they got themselves a star.
Tonight, Tampa Bay hopes Pham can keep his hot-hitting ways alive, as he takes a 14-game hitting streak into this matchup with the Cleveland Indians tonight. Meanwhile, Brandon Lowe has been hot as well, entering this series that started last night with four home runs and nine RBIs while slugging .862 over his previous 10 games for Tampa Bay.
The Rays have won four in a row and are 9-2 over their last 11 games, a span that has seen them hit nearly .300 and outscore foes by 30 runs.
Take the Rays plus the money and don't bother listing pitchers.

Welcome back to the rotation - at least for the night - Sonny Gray!
The Yankees will turn to Sonny tonight at Target Field as they give Luis Severino an extra day's rest in between starts in an effort to get him to pitch the way he pitched earlier this season.
New York opened last night with a 7-2 win over Minnesota to make it 9 straight series wins over the Twins. That includes the one-game Wild Card playoff last October, as the Yankees have outscored the Twins 66-23 during their current 9 game series win streak.
Gray's last "spot start" came back on August 25th when he worked 6-plus scoreless innings against Baltimore in a win.
Tyler Duffey will counter for the Twins who are on a 2-7 slide their last 9. This will be his first start of the year after working 14 relief appearances out of the bullpen with 6 home runs allowed in his 19 innings of work.
This one is going to get away from Minny pretty quickly.
Take New York on the Run Line.

Tonight my Bonus Play is on the New York Yankees over the Minnesota Twins.
At press time, there is no line on this game, so be wary of the line you're being offered.
With this game, I see a pure pitching mismatch, and when the line surfaces, it just may be big enough to play on the run line. Be sure you're playing the game on the run line.
That's because Sonny Gray is stepping into the rotation for a spot start while the Yankees look to give extra rest to their other starters. In six games (one start) since being removed from the rotation, Gray is 2-0 with a 1.83 ERA (19.2 innings). He will be looking to make the most of this one, hoping to make a little statement while reminding the club how valuable he can be come playoff time.
He should get run support against Tyler Duffey, who is expected to throw one or two innings before the bullpen takes over. Duffey, 27, is 1-2 with a 9.00 ERA in 14 appearances for the Twins this year, and he gets to open a series against the Yankees? That is trouble.
The Twins entire staff is trouble, as they've lost seven of 10 and, have a brutal 6.25 ERA in that time span. They've also been outscored by 30 runs during that time.
Play the pinstripes.

My Bonus Play takes us to Kansas City and the American League Central, as I like the Royals to get it done against the Chicago White Sox for a second straight night.
Neither one of these teams have amounted to much this season, as the Royals are scraping the bottom of the division right now, and are in worse shape than Chicago, standings-wise. But the Pale Hose have lost six straight and eight of 11, thanks to a dismal pitching output by a staff that came into this series with a 5.00 ERA in the previous 10 games. After last night, the Sox have a 4.40 ERA over their last 10 games, during which they've been outscored by 17 runs.
Kansas City has won six of 10, is hitting .253 in that time frame and has outscored its opponents by 10 runs. Leading the offensive charge has been Adalberto Mondesi, who has three home runs and seven RBIs while slugging .658 over his past 10 games for Kansas City.
Play the Royals tonight, as they defeat the Sox.

DWAYNE BRYANT
Event: (979) San Diego Padres at (980) Seattle Mariners
Sport/League: MLB
Date/Time: September 11, 2018 10PM EDT
Play: Total Over 8.0 (-120)
List Mitchell & Gonzales

My baseball totals system is a combination of relevant statistical data, history involving similar games, and current market data. A play is made when enough of these factors align. The size of the play is determined by a combination of how many of these factors align, how much value is perceived, and how confident I am about the play.
Projected Runs Scored = 9
Love looking at Overs when NL teams visit AL teams because they get to add a DH to their lineups. The Padres certainly need all the offensive help they can get. Bryan Mitchell has been a figurative gas can for the Padres, posting an awful 6.58 ERA and 6.06 xFIP. His BB/9 (6.41) is actually higher than his K/9 (4.22)! I could go on, but the bottom line is this: Seattle's lineup should rock Mitchell. And if Seattle has a big lead late, they won't use their best bullpen arms. That could give the Padres some late offense as well.
