MLB | Tigers vs Royals
Play on: Tigers -106

Jack’s Free Pick Tuesday: Detroit Tigers -106

The Detroit Tigers have a big advantage on the mound tonight over the Kansas City Royals. That’s why I’ll back them at a great value here at basically even money Tuesday night.

Jordan Zimmerman has been a bright spot for the Tigers this season. He is 4-1 with a 3.86 ERA and 1.127 WHIP in 12 starts, including 2-1 with a 2.49 ERA and 0.969 WHIP in his last three.

Burch Smith will be making just his third start for the Royals this season. The first two have not gone well as he is 0-1 with a 10.13 ERA and 2.064 WHIP while averaging just 2.7 innings per start.

Zimmerman has never lost to the Royals, going 4-0 with a 1.36 ERA and 0.958 WHIP in six career starts against them. We’ll take this 100% never lost system straight to the bank tonight. Bet the Tigers Tuesday.

MLB | Nationals vs Brewers
Play on: Brewers +102

Rocketman Sports FREE MLB play Tuesday 7-24-18 Washington @ Milwaukee 8:10 PM EST
Play On: Milwaukee +102 The Washington Nationals travel to Milwaukee to take on the Brewers on Tuesday night. Washington is 49-50 SU overall this year while Milwaukee comes in with a 57-45 SU overall record on the season. Junior Guerra is 6-6 with a 3.23 ERA overall this year and 3-3 with a 2.55 ERA at home this season. Guerra is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in his one start vs Washington in his career. Washington is scoring only 4.2 runs per game on the road this year and 4.1 runs per game their past 7 games overall. Milwaukee is allowing only 3.9 runs per game overall this year, 3.9 runs per game at home this season, 3.9 runs per game on grass and 3.7 runs per game at night. Milwaukee is 6-2 last 3 years at home vs Washington. Washington is 1-6 this year when playing against a team with a winning record in 2nd half of the season. Milwaukee is 40-20 when playing at night this year. We'll recommend a small play on Milwaukee tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky Rocky Atkinson has a 6* MLB play for Tuesday.

MLB | Cardinals vs Reds
Play on: Cardinals -117

We were on the Cardinals last night and it was a brutal loss as they were one out away from the victory until the Reds rallied for two runs. St. Louis has lost two straight games and has fallen to 2-4 on this current roadtrip while sitting right at .500 overall on the highway. The Cardinals come in as slight favorites and not because of who they are starting, but who they are facing. The Reds snapped a four-game losing streak with the win, but the offense still remains in a slump. Cincinnati has scored just seven runs over the last four games, not scoring more than two runs in any game and the 1.75 rpg average should be even worse if not for the ninth inning last night. Austin Gomber will be making his first ever start and while he has a tough act to follow after Daniel Poncedeleon threw seven no-hit innings last night, he should be up for the task. Gomber, who previously made 15 relief appearances for the Cardinals, has worked nearly exclusively as a starter at Memphis this season, compiling a 3.42 ERA and 76:20 K:BB in 68.1 innings. Homer Baily counters for the Reds and will be making his first start since the end of May. He was not pitching well as he has a 6.68 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in 12 starts with Cincinnati going 1-11 in his 12 starts including 0-5 at home. Here, we play against home underdogs with a starting pitcher whose ERA is 7.00 higher over his last three starts, with a slugging percentage of .350 or worse over their last five games. This situation is 91-36 (71.7 percent) over the last five seasons. Play (905) St. Louis Cardinals

MLB | PIT vs CLE
Play on: OVER 9 -110

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach MLB Game #925 Tuesday Free Pick OVER the total in Cleveland Indians vs Pittsburgh Pirates @ 7:10 ET - A tough break for me in this match-up last night as I got a "no action" on a game that was likely to go over the total (O/U of 8.5) as it was 7-0 Pittsburgh through 6 innings when the game was called final due to rain. The fact is that the Pirates offense remains red hot as they've won 10 straight games and have averaged scoring 6.4 runs per game during this hot streak. The Bucs should have no problems with the offerings of the Indians Shane Bieber. The right-hander has a 5.21 ERA in his last 3 starts. The concern for the Pirates tonight, however, will be their own starting pitcher. Taking a look at Joe Musgrove's last 5 starts, he did have a strong one on the road but that was at San Diego which means he faced a sub-par Padres lineup in a pitcher-friendly park. In his other 4 starts since mid-June, Musgrove has compiled a 7.71 ERA. The over is 5-1 in Musgrove's last 6 starts. The over is 11-2-2 in Indians home games with a posted total of 9 or 9.5 runs this season. With this total dropping from a 9.5 to a 9 early this morning, there is additional value with the over here and I am recommending this as one you certainly want to take a look at for your Tuesday wagering! Free Pick OVER the total in Cleveland

MLB | White Sox vs Angels
Play on: Angels -177

My Bonus Play is on the LA Angels at 10:05 ET. The Chicago White Sox won 5-3 last night in the opener of this four-game series with the Angels in Anaheim. Chicago sits at 35-64), leaving them with a better record than only won the30-69 Royals and 28-73 Orioles. As for the Angels, the loss dropped them to 50-51, 10 1/2 games back of the second wild card in the American League. Despite owning MLB's best player (Mike Trout), the Angels, who opened 13-3, seemed destined to be a non-playoff team once again in 2018)..

Taking the mound on Tuesday for Chicago will be lefty Carlos Rodon (2-3, 3.56 ERA). This will be Rodon's first start since the break. His final start before the All-Star break was a great one as he allowed three hits over 7 1/3 scoreless innings while defeating the St. Louis Cardinals 4-0. Rodon has pitched well since returning from shoulder surgery , which kept off the field since early September of 2017. He made his 2018 debut on June 9 and he has allowed two or fewer runs in five of his seven outings for far this season. Rodon is 1-2 with a 4.11 ERA in three career starts against the Angels. Felix Pena (1-0, 3.42 ERA) gets the nod for LA and he will be making his sixth start of the season. He as yet to pitch longer than 5 1/3 innings but has struck out 32 against just nine walks in 26 1/3 innings. A troubling note is that Pena has a 4.76 ERA at Angel Stadium this season, compared to a 0.96 mark on the road.

However, Pena has filled a desperate need for the Angels this season. They've had 10 pitchers go the disabled list, including five that elected for Tommy John surgery. The bottom line is that the White Sox are just 2-5 in Rodon's seven starts in 2018 plus own a sad-sack 16-35 road record in which they are being outscored 5.78-to-3.96 RPG. Noting that Chicago's victory on Monday snapped a six-game slide at Angel Stadium plus was only its second win in its last 16 games in Anaheim, puts me on the Angels.

MLB | Twins vs Blue Jays
Play on: Blue Jays -106

10* FREE MLB PICK (Blue Jays -106)

I'll take my chances here with Toronto at home against the Twins. The Blue Jays fell 8-3 on Monday to Minnesota, but they were behind the 8-ball before the game ever started, as they had to essentially use their bullpen the entire way with reliever Luis Santos getting the start. Prior to that this team had swept the Orioles out of the break and I look for them to bounce back in a big way here. Toronto will send out Ryan Borucki, who was really good in his first 3 starts before getting hit hard at Boston. No reason to panic after a bad start against a potent Red Sox offense. Borucki has been lights out in two home starts, allowing just 3 runs with 13 strikeouts and just 2 walks in 14 innings of work. Minnesota's Jose Berrios is just 2-5 with a 4.18 ERA in 9 road starts and the Twins as a team are just 3-6 in those 9 outings. Give me the Blue Jays -106!

MLB | Diamondbacks vs Cubs
Play on: Cubs -165

This is a 1* Bonus Play on the Chicago Cubs.

Off yesterday’s 7-1 humbling defeat, the Cubs will be eager to return the favor on Tuesday night. The visitors go with Clay Buchholz (2-1, 2.56 ERA) who hasn’t pitched since June 25th. Buchholz returns from the DL after the All Star break with impressive numbers, but we still think he’ll have his hands full here with the revenge minded Cubbies as he tries to shake off the rust. The home side sends Kyle Hendricks (6-8, 3.99) to the hill and he most recently gave up three runs while striking out four over five innings in a no-decision to the Cardinals on Thursday. No beating around the bush, this has been Hendricks most difficult campaign of his career to this point, but the veteran has the track record and pedigree to return to form over the second half; note as well that he owns a very respectable 3.28 ERA at home this season. Additionally note that the Diamondbacks are just 15-27 (-14.4 units) against clubs with winning records this season. Consider laying the chalk in this one.

Boston vs. Baltimore, 07/24/2018 19:05 EDT

Money Line: -140 Boston

Red Sox LH Drew Pomeranz (1-3, 6.81 ERA) vs. Orioles RH Yefry Ramirez (0-3, 3.09)

Pomeranz the BoSox starter comes off the disabled list fresh and ready to get back on track this Tuesday vs the lowly Baltimore Orioles. Pomeranz owns a 1.80 ERA in four career games (two starts) at Camden Yards. The Orioles are 0-4 since trading away All-Star shortstop Manny Machado. and Boston is perfect 9-0 L/9 games played at Camden Yards. The negative trends I'm betting continue for the Orioles tonight.

BALTIMORE is 6-32 against the money line as an underdog of +125 to +175 this season.

Red Sox are 17-4 in their last 21 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400.

The Red Sox have cashed 22 straight times as a road 140+ favorite off a contest as a chalk when their oppositions starter has a strike-per-ball ratio less than 1.62 on the season and it is post All-Star break and not a series opener. Also 20 of those 22 victories came by multiple runs.

MLB Road teams (BOSTON) - with an on base percentage of .350 or better over their last 20 games, starting a over rested pitcher who is working on 7 or more days rest are 42-15 L/5 seasons for a 74% conversion rate for bettors on the blind.

Play on the Boston Red Sox to win on the moneyline
