7.5 over. Can't see Beckett after all he's done, still being dominant. Also, Mussina in relief last thursday, so he might not be at his best also. See both pitchers at 80% tonight. On a fast field. Don't see B. Williams or K. Garcia holding too many long singles, it will be doubles and triples galore. wich should equal a high scoring game.

Rick, welcome to the Rx. Always nice to see another from SD. Where in Diego are you?

Rick, please explain why Beckett will only be at 80%, he hasn't pitched since last Wednesday night in Chicago and that was only in relief. He should be fully rested and the Yankees have never seen him before.

Why do you consider Joe Robbie stadium to be a fast field?

I am not convinced that this game will go over. At this point I am not playing the total.

Is Mussina going to give it up?

The field in Miami is definitely a fast field. It is like playing on artificial grass it is cut so short. The ball hits and goes...then again you have 345 down the left field line opposed to 305 at the stadium. Less hr's, more gap doubles and triples. 120 HR's hit at Pro Player this year, least of any ballpark...League average was 174

With all that being said, the Marlins were
37O-46U at home this year. Go figure...

A whorman, thanks. I'm in Rancho San Diego, and you? I just feel coming in from the bullpen, on two days rest, that he might loose some mph off that fastball. Although right now in the second he just reached 96. Lets see in the fifth.
