As a Cards backer... I think that's totally fucking dumb. Do they lose yardage for it or anything? Cuz if not... all QB's should do that to avoid a sack on their resume and any possible INTS/FUMBLES.

I don't get it, his arm was moving forward, but he pulled the ball down himself before the hit. What exactly stops that from being a fumble?

The technique would be:

Pump fake.
Bring it down to your chest
Don't bring up your arm in a passing motion unless you see an open receiver
fumble upon a sack
Challenge.

Easy as pie.

Hey let me tell you cuckoo clocks something .the first time I ever saw the rule was against the Pats and for the Jets and Vinny Testeverde in 2001 during the reg season.

Did I say this was new? I said this shit IS DUMB. I am aware that it was enacted around the time that there was a controversy with Brady and I actually never even followed that but people refer to it as that quite frequently when this is brought up.

NOW that it has affected me personally--I can see how really fucking gay it is.
