I have been gambling for 30 plus years and have learned many lessons through the years, some the hard way. Don’t ever risk more than 4 or 5% of your bankroll on one play no matter how sure you are about the game. Be responsible and don’t chase. Pick what sports you know the best and stick to them. STAY AWAY FROM PARLAYS AND TEASERS!!!! I never check the TV listings until after my plays are in. Betting TV games are another way of getting your ass kicked. Quality not quantity is the smartest way to go. Betting 10-20 games on a given day is another mistake a lot of us make. The juice will get you killed. Find a few games you love and play only those. If you win on Saturday don’t feel you have to load up on Sunday. Betting just to bet is fine if you want to consistently lose your bankroll. You have to decide why you gamble. Do you do it for recreation or strictly as a way to increase your wealth. I have been involved with many people who have ruined their life by not practicing self control. Lastly I want everyone here at the RX to rent themselves a movie that is due out tomorrow called Owning Mahowny. This will show you what can happen when you lose control of your life due to gambling. Later guys and enjoy your evening.
