I have always wondered how the porn industry turns these girls out at such young ages. I can see if you are a chick in your late 20's or early 30's and life is kicking your ass so you give porn a shot to earn a quick mega buck. These girls are getting started in the industry between 18 and 21 years old and they are beautiful. They are supposed to have young boyfriends that worship them or an older guy who spoils them. Instead they are taking massive facials and hardcore anal. Whether they have a serious drug habit or just an attention whore the combination of being young and pretty should be the thing that keeps them away from porn and not drive them into porn.

Because they are not as beautiful as you think they are or else they'd be making more money with their looks.

You just need to look closer.

Porn filmmaking shut down after performer tests HIV positive

August 29, 2011 | 12:57pm

An adult film performer has tested HIV positive, prompting a temporary shutdown Monday of adult film productions across Los Angeles until further testing can confirm the results, an industry trade group said.

“Until we know for sure, we’ve asked the industry to have a moratorium on production,” said Diane Duke, executive director of the Free Speech Coalition, a Canoga Park-based porn industry trade group.

Duke’s group became aware of the possible HIV case Saturday, according to a statement released to porn industry media. Duke would not say how her group learned about the possible HIV case.

She said she notified adult film production companies across the San Fernando Valley on Monday morning that a performer had tested positive and urged them to temporarily halt productions until further tests were completed.

Duke said company officials she spoke with -- including those at well-known studios, such as Hustler and Evil Angel -- agreed to the temporary shutdown.

Duke said she could not release the performer’s name, age or gender. Further testing will likely be completed within a week, she added.
Her group will notify performers who had sex with the potentially infected person so they can get tested.

"Retesting and confirmation is underway as is the process of identifying and testing first- and second- generation partners," she said, referring to those who had sex with the person who tested HIV positive or with one of that person's sex partners.

It was not clear how Duke's group was doing that. She noted in a statement released Monday that the performer tested positive at an out-of-state facility “that does not appear to have protocols or procedures in place for medical follow-up (including generational testing).”

Los Angeles County health officials and state health regulators, who have been involved with such testing in the past, were not notified of the test because it was performed out of state, Duke said.

A Los Angeles County public health spokeswoman did not return calls or emails early Monday.

Last month, Duke’s group launched a new testing database for porn performers, the Adult Performer Health and Safety Services, designed to provide producers and agents with access to results from numerous testing centers.

Duke said it will be at least another month before testing is complete and the database is fully functional.

Adult film performers must be tested every 30 days and show proof of a clean test before they perform, according to voluntary industry standards.

AIM Medical Associates had been operating the industry's database of test results before it closed in May while fighting a lawsuit that alleged it revealed performers' private medical information.

The new database will tell producers and agents only whether performers are available for work, not their specific test results as AIM had done, Duke said.

AIM officials, who opened the Sherman Oaks-based clinic in 1998, had also drawn criticism for opposing condom use in porn and insisting that frequent tests could protect performers from HIV.

They continued to defend their position even after performer Derrick Burts tested HIV positive at AIM last year.

Burts has since joined an effort by Los Angeles-based AIDS Healthcare Foundation to get a measure placed on the city’s June 2012 ballot that would require adult film performers to use condoms in porn productions that seek Los Angeles city film permits.

Backers of the ballot measure must submit a petition with at least 41,138 qualifying signatures by Dec. 23 to place the proposal on the June ballot. It would be the first time that voters were asked to weigh in on the issue.

Michael Weinstein, president of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, said the latest possible HIV infection showed an “outrageous disregard for the health and safety of performers and the community at large” and demonstrates why testing is not an adequate substitute for condoms. He called on L.A. city officials to pull all adult film permits until condoms are mandated.

“How many performers must become infected with HIV and other serious STDs before the industry will clean up its act and government will do the right thing?” he said.

Have you ever noticed when you watch vintage porn from the 80's or 90's the scenes were only between 7-10 minutes and most of the fucking was shitty looped editing. But in today's porn the scenes are between 25-40 minutes and no loop work. Is it like MLB where today's performers are juiced and put up better numbers?

I also kinda miss the funky music, storylines and horrible acting in old school porn. I would like to know why this guy gets to fuck this hot big-titted chick in the next scene. In today's porn there is no bullshit just straight roll camera and start fucking casting couch style. You could even hear the posse in the background cheering the dude on and the camera man barking out orders.

Sexually transmitted diseases are highly prevalent in the pornography industry. Los Angeles Public Health Department reports that Chlamydia and Gonorrhea infections among performers are 10X greater than that of LA County 20-24 year olds.

Not surprising if:

1. Porn performers don't use rubbers in their acts.

2. LA County 20-24 year olds generally try to use a hat.

3. Condoms are considered to help protect you 80-94% of the time.

So the 10X figure sounds about right.

I fully agree 100%. Some of the beginners are so freaking pretty they could date anyone they wanted and have the ground they walk on praised. Yet, they choose to do 'blowbangs" "fetish" and other things that are beyond words. Is it the $$$, dope or just no self esteem. Jesus guys, these chicks are so hot yet......Back in the day I would have given my left nut to have one of those hotties look at me. Back then I "had it". the car some cash yet never had anyone like those babes. Maybe I just shopped in the wrong store

You should have watched John Leslie in "Talk Dirty To Me" and you'd have been set

Porn in the USA

Showtime is once again pushing the boundaries of decency on pay TV with a new late night series composed of vintage pornography.
"Dave's Old Porn" - premiering tonight at 11:30 PM - features mainstream comics and adult film stars viewing and commenting on XXX films from the '70s and '80s.
"We are not allowed to show penetration, but we get really, really close," creator and host Dave Attell tells The Post.
"You will have to use a little imagination."
In the first of eight half-hour episodes, sitcom star Whitney Cummings and adult movie icon Ron Jeremy, sit side-by-side watching Jeremy's 1981 performance in "Bad Girls" on a giant screen.
"If you like dirty, fun, fast, unscripted jokes and hairy retro porn, this is the show for you," Attell says.
"If you don't like porn, you will go, 'That is the reason I don't like it.' I don't think I will be converting anybody to the religion of porn."
Attell, who viewed his first adult film in junior high school, says it has taken more than four years to get his "porn party" on the air.
Pay cable channels -- Showtime in particular -- have never shied away from nudity. But this project came with the added challenge of avoiding graphic images that would violate federal obscenity and indecency laws.
In once scene a cut out image of the host and his guests seated on a long red couch is used to censor an act of oral sex.
"We and be respectful to the original directors cut as possible," Attell says. "But we do jump from scene to scene."
The show - which features many films from Attell's personal XXX library -- also includes interviews with many stars from what he calls the "golden age of porn."
"We had Georgina Spelvin on who was in 'The Devil In Miss Jones,'" he says.
"She is in her 70s now. She came out and told us how she also had to do the craft services. It's weird that the star of the movie also had to serve the food for everybody!"
