[h=1]Migrants Choose Arrest In Canada Over Staying In The U.S.[/h]
Royal Canadian Mounted Police are reporting a flurry of illegal crossings into Canada in recent months. Officials say Quebec province has seen the highest influx of people seeking asylum, with many crossing in snowy, remote areas in northern New York.
One illegal crossing area that has become particularly popular among immigrants is in Champlain, N.Y., in the northeast corner of the state.

Oh gee, you mean unlimited illegal immigration is a concern? The horrors!

[h=1]'Someone is going to slip through': Worry grows over influx of asylum seekers[/h]Greg Janzen, the reeve of Emerson, Man., where dozens of would-be refugee claimants have recently crossed the porous Canada-U.S. border, says some area residents are beginning to express anxiety about the influx.
The small border town of 671 has been galvanized to help asylum seekers, and the issue has certainly put the community on the map, attracting media attention from across the globe. Janzen said he's done 95 television interviews over the last two weeks. Before that he'd only done one, a dozen years ago.
But as the number of asylum seekers continues to surge, it's beginning to put a strain on local resources and raise some security concerns over potential risks to the residents, he said.
"It's starting to get concerning, because the numbers are growing," Janzen said.

actually, I don't think the firings are directly the result of any Trump policy, they're more about employers' terminating unreliable employees for just cause

you have a job to produce, not protest, but liberals often times don't know the difference

indirectly, Trump is responsible for their firings, since they're protesting against him

Migrants who advocated for the wage-suppressing, cheap labor policies allowing them to work in the U.S. found
themselves rapidly replaced by new workers. One business, the I Don’t Care Bar and Grill in Catoosa, Oklahoma,
fired several workers by text message: “You and your family are fired. I hope you enjoyed your day off, and you
can enjoy many more. Love you.” The next day, the restaurant posted an announcement looking for new workers on Facebook.

Many protesters in the “Day Without Immigrants” marches waved foreign flags to emphasize
they were loyal to countries whose main export was cheap labor–with costs inflicted on
taxpayers and profits awarded to employers.
