Most of these Democrats were for a wall and security at one time. Yet all of a sudden dont want a wall and tough immigration?
Is it because:
A: They want reform to make those here illegally, citizens to add to the Democrat voting block?
B: It stirs up their base when it shows illegals (and caravans) trying to come in, and paints Trump as the "Bad Man" with no compassion by not letting them in?
C: They are invested in going against anything and everything Trump wants, even if it would be better for our country, simply because of "Party politics"?
D: They will do whatever they can to stop Trump from getting a "Victory" and keeping another campaign promise?
Any other ones you guys can think of? I cant think of any reason NOT to have a border wall. While it might cost some money, the savings alone will pay for itself within a year. And the possible lives it will save from discouraging people to try and cross is also a huge plus.
In 2006, 26 Senate Democrats — including Charles Schumer, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton — voted for the Secure Fence Act of 2006, which required the Department of Homeland Security to build two layers of reinforced fencing along 700 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border. Is there some profound moral difference between a fence and a wall? Nope....
