Current line at Bookmaker to win the Election is:

Biden -180

Trump +160

By Party:

Democrats -193

Republicans -160

I sure hope some of you folks who are going to bet on the Election didn't do so when Trump was a slight favorite, and took my advice

when I advised you to wait because Trump was not going to be the dog but a BIG dog!

New Poll: Trump Leads Biden in Swing State Wisconsin

President Donald Trump lead presumptive Democratic Party presidential candidate Joe Biden by a slim margin in swing-state Wisconsin, according to a Trafalgar Group poll released Sunday.

Georgia-based political strategist Robert Cahaly, who owns the Trafalgar Group, was the only pollster in 2016 to predict Trump's upset victory over Hillary Clinton. Trump beat Clinton in Wisconsin, 47.2% to 46.5% in 2016.

Trump leads Biden, 45.5% to 44.6%. The poll also shows 7.5% voting for “other candidates” and 2.4% as undecided.

Trafalgar Group polls Americans by phone using auto-dialing technology and computer-generated questionnaires.

Cahaly last week also said Michigan is much closer than other polls are showing. In a survey of 1,101 likely general election voters polled between June 16-18, 2020, Cahaly found Biden leading Trump among Michigan residents by less than a percentage point. Lansing, Michigan-based EPIC-MRA released a survey around the same time showing Trump trailing Biden by 16 percentage points.

Cahaly told RealClear Politics he’s using the same methodology he used four years ago with an enhanced system for targeting likely voters. He also said he continues to see signs of “shy” or “reluctant” Trump voters who do not want to tell the truth about who they are voting for.

Well what do you know-lookee here!

It appears that even the Rasmussen Poll, the one which bends over backward to try to portray that Trump is doing well, can't find any way to spin

the reality as it exists today.

Is this firm now also considered one of the "fake" polling firms since they can't find a way to say that the American Public as whole feels that Trump is

doing a good job?

No reason why we can't just add to our portfolio when we get a better line .. I hope the sucker money keeps coming in for Biden. I will just keep adding more ..

I hope for you sake that Trump drops out, which I would assume nullfies your bet.

Seriously you might consider donating whatever you are going to bet on Trump to one of your favorite charities then pissing it away

on a lost cause.

If I was in your shoes and wanted to bet on Trump, at the very least I would want some good news to justify my bet even though the odds might

be lower.

ps Off to bed because as you know, 75 years old who jog three miles a day and who are in better physical shape than around 90% of other

folks our age and for that matter better than hose half our age, need our rest!

Ok fair enough.

And as I have said before(and even opened up a thread saying the same thing), there is still a "ballgame" to be played here, and no

knows with 100% certainty who is going to win until after it is over.

Speaking of ballgames and although the circumstances are entirely differently from the Election, even now as a diehard Red Sox since 1952,

I still think back at times to 2004 when the Sox were down 0-3 in games in the ALCS to Yankees, came back and won the next four and

then swept the Cardinals in the WS-what a way to end the CURSE!!

Might have been my favorite ALCS moment.. Yanks taking that up the rear end was classic..

Just curious-who is your favorite team?

I grew up with the Dodgers..when they got rid of Piazza back in the day. I ended the relationship with them
He should have been a Dodger for life. Maybe an overreaction. Rooted for the Cubs last several years.. Maybe its an LA thing. Did the same thing with the Rams when they moved. . been a Packers fan ever since

I hear ya.

I hope that trading Mookie doesn't turn out the way that Piazza did or worse, the Bambino!

Being a Packers fan is never a bad choice as they are usually in te thick of things.

Is Trump Jr. a pollster and/or he is some kind of expert on how to interpret polling results?

Do you thing perhaps just perhaps he is a "little" biased on what he says about his dad?

We will find out on Nov. 3.
