You do realize the recent border bill was drafted by a Republican from Oklahoma. His name is James Lankford and he was appointed by Mitch McConnell, another Republican. He worked on the bill for several months and it had contained many points that Republicans had been asking for. The momentum behind the bill was gaining speed and had many Republicans backing the bill, but when Trump said vote it down because he wants to run on border security in 2024 Republicans backed off. Now senator Langford has been hung out to dry. He was serving the American people and tried to fix our border issue, but now Trump's agenda comes first. It's amazing how you will eat your own. Langford is now an outcast even though Trump endorsed him. You can't make this stuff up...
I'm amazed at how this has become a Biden issue. Under Trump you had a Republican Senate and House. You had full control. What did you do about border security? You built a 6-mile wall that we both can climb over. Why didn't the Republicans fix the border issue when you had complete control of all three branches?
