Harmon Killerbrew is correct - good job Mims.

Nickenamed "The Fat Kid" (but not to his face) Harmom Killerbrew played 5 abbreviated seasons with the old Washington Senators before hitting 42 homers in 1959.

His best year up until then was 5 homers in 1956.

I am going to grab some lunch - back later with a few more questions.

Mims how is it you and PBR both from Ohio and good at this game?

Starting to think the deck is stacked against me.

Growing up a Reds fan I couldn't root for my shitty team, so I had to memorize the stats for players on other teams

I'm back with a little Red Sox action..

Name the famous Red Sox player whose final home run of his career (he hit over 100 and less than 500 homers in his career) was an inside the park home run. The homer was the only inside the park homer of his long career.

This is black bag materiel.

All Nopes.

Black Bag questions are my most difficult, I usually pull them out to torture Steak Tartar, PBR and Timetopay but I am adding you to the list.

That is correct - unfortunately Steak Tartar answered the question about 3 hours ago - see post #4. Great job anyway...:103631605

Well it looks like the inside the park hone question is to difficult. The thing about trivia these days with the internet available is you have to ask questions that are not records or personal questions about particular players and give their names because all of that is so easy to look-up.

This question about the inside the park home is about a particular player but the answer is his name so it is not so easy to look up.

Answer:

Bill Buckner hit is 174th and final home run of his career on April 25th 1990 for the Boston Red Sox.
He hit a low line drive down the right field line at Fenway that just kept running around the bend out there in rightfield at Fenway. The never very fast Buckner must have tagged it good for it to roll far enough for him to circle the bases.

The opposing pitcher was the California Angels Curt McKaskill. The Angels won 3-1 despite the fact that the Red Sox had 13 hits that day.
