Did you know that Jermaine Dye is batting .823 with 7 home runs and 27 RBI when the White Sox are at home following a win playing a team that has the exact same record while under the lights, but only after the 5th inning. Also, when it rains between 0 and 1 inches in the previous 7 days in the visiting team's city, but only if that team plays in a dome, the home team is 98% likely to win by 3 or more runs, unless of course, the starting pitcher for said team has less than 176 career wins.

Bottom line: Trends, schmends. Most of the time, trends can be thrown out the window, because I can make any trend look good in my team's favor. For tonight, I don't have a favorite team. It is pretty much a toss up. It looks like the favorite is based on home field advantage. If I had to pick, I would go with the Sox, but I'll likely stay away from it.

I doubt it happened too many times where the team trying to win the third game were at home for all three.
