Wrigleyville is insane with a yuppie crowd. Just about any bar will be jam packed.
Someone looking for great food before the game? Check out Goose Island brewery, the site I listed has info about every neighborhood. a quick bite before the game? Baccis pizzeria, if you're looking for tickets before the game and didn't buy them online you can find Gold Coast tickets right next to Baccis on Addison. Owners name is max and if you can catch him there tell him you're from outta town and were told he was the guy to see (If I haven't talked to you personally on or away from the site I'm sorry but I dont want you dropping my name - i dont make commission either :howdy: )
Theres a great dive bar right there called the Dugout, owners name is Mike hes a great dude. Big blonde guy working the door Brent can also help you locate tickets.
If theres a group of you, you might want to check out the rooftops. Stay away from Gramatis' places if you're a big Cubs loyalist, a lot of people hate him for his way of doing business. But since its a gambling forum his place is the one with the horseshoe casino logo on it, some of you may remember the big Budweiser rooftop sign. Murphys bleachers has some of everything.. outdoor seating, indoor seating, a lot of cubs history inside of the cases.. its a huge place and lots of great broads. Catalinas and a few other bars are good spots.
its hard to go wrong in any of these places.. cubby bear etc.
I tend to stay away from there as I'm a big time Sox fan but I make it to a few a year. The stadium is rich in history but as the saying goes: whats the difference between wrigley field and a cactus?
on the cactus all the pricks are on the outside
if you havent bought tickets and dont want to wait until gameday check out gold coast tickets
or ticketsbydemand.com Eddie is a great guy or doitbigtickets.com big al also a great guy
Id recommend navy pier and going out on a sightseeing tour. shoreline is a great company and beers are like 2 bucks.
or do a segway tour, kids should weigh at least 100 lbs for them to operate safely.
Fireworks by the lake on weds and sat nights and def check out the light show at Buckingham fountain. Sears tower recently installed a viewing deck that lets you step out from the building (plexigass and you can look straight down and have your pictures taken.
If you're looking to get laid, take them to the signature room on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building.. one of the best views in the city
I could talk all day about my city.
