This one is not as fishy as the week 1 Syracuse line was, but you can stil be sure that the entire nation will be on Florida in week 2. They are THE BEST team in the nation and they WILL win big, but they will not cover the number here. They looked impressive in the first game and Troy lost at Bowling Green. Florida will face the much improved Tennessee team in week 2 led by a coach who called out Meyer in the offseason. If you think Florida will not be overlooking Troy here, you are crazy.

TROY +36.5 TO THE BANK !

Excellent analysis! This is definitely worth a flyer.

Maybe the public will pound Florida even more to give this play more value?

UCONN +4

This line reminds me the most to my week 1 trap game between Syracuse and Minnesota. UCONN is stil percieved as a basketball school and UNC is now getting recognized as a good football program. A ranked team should be favored by more than 4 on the road against a non ranked team especially after a big win against this same team last year.

Ohio State +7

Great win for USC last week, great win last season vs Ohio State and close win for Ohio State over Navy last week is all an average bettor will look at here before betting on USC. USC is more successifull in recent years and seems to be playing well in marquee matchups, but this is a very first road game for many guys on that team and it is not an easy place to play for visiting teams. Ohio State is hungry for a big win and this is a great chance for them to get noticed.

Its not a first road game for USC's massive offensive line (which I consider the best in the nation)---even San Jose State coach (Dick Tomey) who used to coach Arizona back when they had the Desert Swarm Defense in the 90's said this is the best offensive line he has ever seen in all of his coaching, he went on to say there are possibly 4 NFL first-rounders on that offensive line---That is a remarkable compliment by Tomey considering he is 71 years old and has seen lots of football

I have tons of respect for Tomey but what else do you expect him to say after his team allowed 6 rushing td's and over 7 yards per carry ? He had to say something like that to give his defensive line some hope for the rest of the season. His d-line was the best part of his team last season and he definately wants them to forget this game as soon as possible.

I've been screaming from the mountains to everyone who'll listen that what you posted will be the difference in the game...

As for the venue....very tough place to play. I realize Texas and Penn St have won there in recent years at night, but Texas went on to win the Nat'l Title that year and Penn St was a choke job away from the Title game ast year...nonetheless...when you get 100,000+ doing the O-H-I-O chant throughout all four corners of the stadium, it is very intimidating and very loud...the parties on game days before the games are insane....like Mardi Gras insane...they'll have 100,000+ inside on Saturday and AT LEAST 100,000+ outside the stadium too... don't know how much of an advantage if any this presents, but it should be a fun atmosphere for those in attendance...not to mention the fans are right on top of the field too...great venue for a CFB game...it'll be a fun night until USC comes in and pisses all over BUckeye Nation...

This will be the first road game for 1 starter on the USC team.

I'm really asking in a nice way, but how do you expect Ohio state to score enough points to cover when they have an outclassed OL, not much of a running game and average receivers?

Pryor will be forced to run to the edge for yards, or pass against the best secondary in CF the way I see it.

What is your take?

I agree with everything you said...HOWEVER, you are way off about the WR's....they played last week without their 2 best WR...Ray Small didn't play at all and Devier Posey got hurt early...they still have Dane Sanzenbacher (i.e. Wes Welker) and True Frosh Duron Carter...their WR's are solid...but the OL is garbage...

Like the Ohio St. pick....don't see very many on OSU. Good luck to the minority on this one. You got haters out there who will bash you for this pick just out of pure spite.
