trap alert ! week 1 shocker !!!

Syracuse will cover and maybe even beat Minnesota. Laugh all you want now but make sure to apologize after the game. Not many teams were as unlucky as Syracuse last season. Yes, they had some blowout losses but they also had two double digit dog upset wins. They were able to keep it close in the first half in 4 of their losses and into the third quarter in 4 more losses, and they did that with not much experience or talent. Minnesota was just lucky early on beating cupcakes and bad Big 10 teams. Once the schedule got to the most difficult part, they lost all the important games, vs NW, Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa. Their season ended the same way with a blowout loss to Kansas. Looking at the card for week 1, this is the only fishy looking line. The public will pound Minnesota even more later this week, but 7 points will be enough !

Take Syracuse +7 !

Its hard for me to buy into "trap" games , but as far as avoiding this game completely i can agree with. In this forum, and in several other places across the web it is surprising how many people have this game circled and how its money, etc....and the line has only moved in marginal increments. You have to believe with the public allure this line would be getting beaten up and it just hasn't. Kind of spooks me away from it and if I had to bet I agree, I would take Syracuse +7.
