Back in the 1990's & early 2,000's, going against the touts was guaranteed money........
I remember several years where the touts lost every Monday night game, it was unbelievable how much money you could make going against them.......that's all changed with computer technology & the information age.

I'm not even sure what this all means.

First, "touts" aren't an exclusive club that release a consensus pick on every game. People who sell picks have different opinions as well so it wouldn't be impossible to lose "every" game. Second, the term "tout" is very loosely used. Anyone can offer picks for sale. Doesn't mean anyone is buying them or that person knows shit. Hell....I can claim to have a nuclear consulting company, but that hardly means I have customer or know shit about nuclear energy.

finally, what exactly are you claiming that the emergence of the internet and accessible statistics changed? I'm not sure I followed the canyon-size leap you took from fading "touts" on MNF to then stating that we are in an "information-age". I recognize we are in an Information Age and technology has changed a lot of things, including betting. But what exactly are you saying it changed in reference to your hot take that "touts" didn't correctly pick a MNF for 14 straight years?
