Tout (Jack Price) calling my cell phone?

I have never called a service. Has anyone else been contacted like this? I assume it is from using 1-800-555-8355 for scores but it ain't cool!

I have called that # for 3 years, never got calls because of that.

I am not sure how else they could have gotten my cell phone number then...is your # blocked or does it show up on caller ID when you call someone?

Damm near got me fired from work for calling back so much, just called the score phone maybe twice.

No, mine shows up. The number you called was the Tellme network right? This is an AT&T venture, I dont think Jack Price is pulling #s from this. 1800-555-Tell does so much more than scores.

I agree, but given the fact that it is free, the only way they make $ is to collect and sell info on the people that call, right?

I always figured this was why I got the SGB Global schedules in the mail even though I never played or registered wiht them (months late

)

I work for that provides . I can assure you that we do not give out ANY info from people calling, in fact we do not even collect ANIs from the call so we actually dont even have info on specific phone #s that call us....

BTW, we are not an ATT venture, they are only a minority investor in our company...

True enough, I did a case on Tellme, but they did invest a lot of money and the 60 million from At&T gave Tellme some credibility. Didnt AT&T supply technology as well? How is Tellme these days, what is the main source of revenue at this time?

thanks Joey....what's up with the time limits on the calls now? it seems like the score updates are much slower now too, still a great service though, I have recommended it to many...and will continue to do so

I get a call EVERYDAY on my cell. When I answer it the call automatically disconnects.

It really p*sses me off !

In the past couple of weeks, I have gotten at least a half dozen calls from them...

I believe a sports book must have sold them its mailing list with phone numbers included...

shrink, you are correct...a book sold us out. in the past 2 weeks, i have rec'd calls from this price idiot and another incoherent moron from muzzo sports out of new york. i have never called a tout or a scorephone...there is no other explaination.

i got the one from muzzo sports or whatever it was, i couldnt understand him hardly, he wanted to let me know "what they have to offer"....lmfao

i used to get the Jack Price calls but as i have told everyone repeatedly, if u just listen to the call ONCE, and follow the instructions for him to stop calling, he does....
I'm not defending him, i am just saying that i did what the message said, and have NEVER gotten a call again....that was months ago..
