:103631605 Have not posted since very early in 2009. Was tredding water at 50/50, at that time. My numbers indicate a solid total play on the 7:20 pm est Villanova- American matchup. Like the half and game totals to go over. THUS:

1st half: over 59.5 ONE UNIT

Game: over 127.5 TWO UNITS

adding:

UCLA vs VCU @ 9:40pm est. Bruins are better offensively in 2009 & have more freedom from Ben. Their depth off the bench offensively is a significant improvement over recent years. However; they are not as good on the defensive end, but the past perception remains, that still clamp down on "D" . Will take advantage of this number and stereotype. Believe the neutral court enhances this position. THUS:

1st half: Over 63 ONE UNIT

Will continue NCAA hoops tourney plays in same thread. Another nugget sticks out for me in the 7:25 pm est matchup of Xavier and Portland State. Game is being played in Boise. Like the totals to go over both in the half and game again. Xavier's board dominance should provide many put backs and free throws and P.S. will drill the threes from deep in an uptempo attack. THUS:

1st half: over 62.5 ONE UNIT

Game: over 135 ONE UNIT

Tourney Record: 2-1 +1.90 units

Got a little lucky at the buzzer, after a cinch, torrid first half. Take note on Xavier's game plan, with a big lead. Will add in a night cap contest between Mich. State & Robert Morris. Once again, I like the total in the first twenty minutes to go over. The talent differential here should propel a fast pace, as Spartans dictate. THUS:

1st half: over 62 ONE UNIT

An early bird special in the "No Interest Tournament. After viewing the 1st half, a solid position on 2nd half total has developed. First half went under by 6+ points with a total of 62. Va Tech missed at least 8 zero footers and got the ball inside at will. Neither team defending a bit in this 11:00 am start. Coming off a 5-1 NCAA tourney start and up 4.90 units. THUS:

2nd half: over 77.5 ONE UNIT

Back to the NCAA field of "32" with 10:00 am tip off for invading UCLA. Nova playing 5th game on this court in 08-09. The Bruins are not the same Ben Howland "type" team of the past, as noted in earlier post. Faster is better for this squad. Yes, Ben will pull in the leash, at various times in each half. No post game exacerbates his innate desire, to control most possessions. Voila, he must let them play. A perfect storm, when you take on Nova and their perimeter strength. The expected pace and three point barrage should make this one to a high scoring affair. THUS:

1st half: over 67 ONE UNIT

Afternoon affair between U Conn & Texas A & M provides yet another high per centage play. All my numbers reflect just one play. The only visible negative is the inconsistency of both team's perimeter "3" game. Both teams are monsters on the glass and should lead to early free throws and many ORB's. Therefore it is time to proceed and not fight the only ? mark. I fully expect this mini run (7-1), over two days plus, to continue. THUS:

1st half: over 64 ONE UNIT

Duke HOSTS Texas in one of final two games this evening. We saw the a huge semi-home court advantage earlier today in Philadelphia. Washington in Portland currently rallying behind some home cooking, as well. Rick Barnes knows the zone defense will be vulnerable against the post less, slashing Blue Devils. I expect Texas to play more man to man defense tonight, then he prefers. The anticipated change should speed the game up just a tad. In addition, a zone team, trying man will create fouls and free throw trips for Duke. Dukies can be exploited on the offensive glass and Texas should focus on this edge. My numbers point to a slight edge on the first half over. THUS:

1st half: over 64.5 ONE UNIT

Tournaments to date: 8-1 + 6.90 units

In the other late game, I would lean ONLY to Western Kentucky +11.5 and would also take some +550 ML. **These are NOT posted plays, for RX record purposes. I will play these personally.......

Your analysis was right on the money, and should have been an easy over. That 3 minute stretch going scoreless killed it. I'll gladly take the push to go with all those winners you've been posting. Thanks again for all your help and continued success.

Yep- When its going good those buzzer beaters drop...and visa versa, of course. I don't see much advantage in these 2nd halfs and already vested in Western Kentucky, (off the posted record). THUS: Done for the day!

Another early start (9:00 am pst) for a West Coast team tips off the round of "24". While the Sun Devils have had an outstanding season by their standards, this zone defense matchup could be their undoing. First of all, the strength (or lack there of), in the Pac 10 is rearing its head. UCLA gets taken to the woodshed and Washington loses in a home court scenario. The same script is my projection this morning. ASU has not seen this type of size in an opponent's zone defense. On the other hand Flynn, Devendorf, and Rautins will get some open looks versus the ASU matchup. The frontline muscle of the Orangemen will clean up on the finesse based Pac 10 opponent. Orange like to run and recovering to a matchup zone generally leaves some momentary holes. THUS:

1st half: Syracuse -1.5 ONE UNIT

Game: Syracuse ML -145 TWO UNITS

Tournaments to Date: 9-1 + 8.90 units

In what could be the sneeze fest of the first two rounds, Xavier & Wisconsin tee off shortly. Will take a contrarian view and feel these slooow down teams will exceed a very Looow first half #. THUS:

1st half: over 55.5 ONE UNIT
