Tough Morning at Pokerstars

I'm a tight but aggressive player so i generally do well. Been tearing it up this week actually. So i'm playing at limit holdem. This has been my day so far.

I've had QQ 3 times.

Ran into KK
Got Beat by JJ
Won Once

I've had K/A 3 times
nothing at all

I've had 1010 twice
Ran into AA
Ran into JJ

This is the best one
I had KK, get raised, slow play it. Just me and the guy in the pot.
Flop A10K.
bet, call
A/10/K/5
bet, raise, gets capped
A/10/K/5/A
bet, i just call afriad of A/10 or A/10
****** shows AA for 4 of a kind. Both flopped a set.


Gotta take a break for the day I guess.

by definition tight but aggressive players are.

Players who generally do not play a lot of pots, really only play premium hands, but are dictating the action (the raiser) when in them.

No bad beat posts please!!!! It happens to us all including runs where everything gets beat. The last thing anyone wants to read is a post about someone losing in poker. As an example:

Here's one for ya....

I have AK spades..maniac caps preflop.

Flop comes QJ5 spades...maniac and I cap the flop.

Turn comes X...Maniac and I three bet it.

River comes J...Of course the betting is capped.

Maniac wins over 600 with a boat using the QJ offsuit with which he capped the flop. My flopped nut flush and str8 flush draw takes 0.

There are tons more where this came from since the same guy took over 1100 in pots from me with random river and turn cards but I won't post them.

Poker invloves luck, no one wants to read about bad beats.

I have a-5 suited

Smooth call a double the blind bet (guy has been pushing the whole time)

Flop come AA5 for the boat

Long story short.....I get allmy chips in before the turn

I loose to 4 jacks!!!

$1800 pot

I just started playing at Ultimate Bet.I'm just getting into this Poker stuff in the last month....I swear to Christ that they will not allow you to play that way.Be cause thats how I play. I've gotten AA about 5 times, and gone all in against maybe the button and both blinds and got it stuffed up my ass.
And don't even think about head hunting if you have A,K off suit...you lose everytime...now from what I understand thats a 11/10 shot at winning I bet I lost 7 or 8 in a row playing heavy handed...I need that Zen book bad with some valium.
So I played more conservativley and they started coming in for me.
That software loves to knock you on your ass when your too agressive with primo hands..at least in ring games.

I did come in 28th out of 214 in a tourney,was good enough for money.
