I can't believe they've thrown about 30 different downs. Could have been running all over Illinois...and in shitty weather to boot. Bad playcalling.

I think Riley owed some big heavies some money. That made no sense at all.

He threatened with the FG kicker, but then pulled him back and called a passing play twice in a row. Unreal sequence of events right there, why not just punt the ball after running twice? I will take it though

Cost me $$ that was one of the worst beats i have ever taken. Crazy plays happen but the play calling at end was the worst I have ever seen. Worst case scenario was giving Ill the ball back at the 27 with 20 seconds if you just ran into the line. Fuck take a knee twice and 20 secs at 31.

Makes me wonder if people knew something we didn't. Strange endings that changed bets in 4 games this year on Nebraska. I can say this I will not bet on another game of theirs while Riley is coach. (most likely) Add them to Hawai'i on shady things going on IMO.

Worst play calling I have seen and I had Illinois. The passes were the mistake. I would not have tried the ft but could have run another 40-45 seconds minimum off the clock. Worse than Tomlin.

Yeah, they knew the weather was shitty and the fans were sold a lemon that said they'd run the ball. It was just a lot of talk. NU has a stallion of a qb that could have ran the zone read all day on a poor defense. But they just dont know how to. When the pressure is up, they revert to a style of ball that many have learned doesnt work on the plains.

I know, as an Illini ticket holder I was begging them to take a knee, but they threw it twice and took zero time of the clock while turning it over on downs. Unreal

It's the 3rd game they've done this. They could have iced BYU (no hailmary) and the same thing last week vs So Miss. It's beyond coincidence.

I can't believe that line ran all the way down to -3

Agreed, that was something.

I got 6.5 and bought the hook to 7 the night before. Couldn't believe it went to -3.

As an Illini fan, we'll take it! Great win for those kids who've been through the wringer.
