There is a pitching change for Colorado but I will stick with my Colorado pick here. A.Cook is having a very nice season for his <.500 AAA Colorado team (in a league where almost half of all batters hit for .300 or better and where pitching at home for Colorado pitchers means pitching in a ballpark where just under 14 runs per game are scored). Cook is 3-1 in 7 starts with a very good 2.74 ERA, with only 34 hits in 46 IP, 25K, 8BB and only 1 HR. He leads all team starters in every category and is ranked #8 in the league in ERA, and #1 in WHIP at only 0.91. He is 4-0 lifetime pitching for the Rockies at Coors field, with 5 ND.
Wolf has been solid so far but just look at the opposition that he faced recently.
SF (#24 in the league in BA, faced Wolf in a 3-8 mix where they scored 5 runs only twice in 8 games)
STL (A 14-14 TEAM AT THAT POINT OF THE SEASON
ARZ (#22 in the league in BA, a 9-12 team at that point, scoring 5 runs or more only twice in 9 games prior to their game vs Wolf)
MON (#30 in the league in BA, 4-13 at that point of the season, scoring 2 runs or less in 5 games prior to their game vs Wolf)
MON (#30 in the league in BA, on a 6 game losing streak at that point of the season, scoring 3 runs or less in all 6 of those games)
CIN (#29 in the league in BA, facing Wolf in the mix of a 1-3 four game stretch where they scored 3½ runs on average)...
Finally, it is important to know that it's been a long time since Wolf's last start at Coors field.
