AL East......Toronto should win 83....hard to see the Sox not winning 97, winning a couple more than last year.

Yankees, over 99.5 at Pinny- Travis Lee is an underrated pickup. People are overlooking the comeback of Lieber in the rotation. He could be a fifteen game winner this year.

White Sox over 82.5- underrated team. Rotation should be solid even with loss off Cologne (sic). Should win division. Should clear this easily.

Angels over 91.5- Solid team all around. Should win division.

Tampa Bay Under 69.5- I see them getting pounded all year by everyone in the division, including Toronto and Baltimore.

Los Angeles- over 82.5- Most people are taking the under on this. I like the over. Rotation should get them to .500. NL West is down this year. If they pick up another bat, which they probably will, should clear this number.

sorry - but you are 100% DEAD WRONG here. the dodgers are truly going to suck this season - and for many to come. agree about NL West being down - but this includes the dodgers. as for picking up a bat - ain't gonna happen - for current owner frank mccourt isn't going to spend a dime getting anyone good.

dodgers could lose 90+ this season.

Like Atlanta over this year. Still think they will win one more divisional title. John Thompson a very nice pick up. As for the Dodgers, feel they will be in the 82-88 range again unless several things break their way. Like Beltre finally playing to his potential, Green being 100%. They need a first baseman, but not long term since James Loney is going to be very good. About a year away. Hell with Ventura, might as well give the rookie the job now even at 20.

Degenerate,

If all those things break their way
they will win 82-88 games. I say nothing
breaks their way. Encarnacion will be the lone
shining light on a team tumbling into the abyss.

Nomo can't get anyone out.
Jeff Weaver will be ....well...Jeff Weaver.
Green is a shell of his former self.
Robin Ventura won't take you to the promised land. The only pitcher worth a damn is Perez.
This team should win around 70-75 games.

I am all over this prop like a freak
in a carnaval.

LOS ANGELES UNDER 82 1/2 -125
5 UNITS.

Lines are from Oly, 31-March

Far and away my top pick: Reds under 72' (-130) Friends who live in Cinci very down on the Reds. Woeful starting pitching, mediocre defense at best, real concerns about Kerns and particularly Dunn, plus lots of games against Cubs and Houston. One guy I really trust says 100 losses would not surprise. if they don't get off to a decent start, anyone could be on trading block.

Distant #2 pick: Texas under 71' (-140) Poor odds, but this is arguably a worse team than last year playing in a division with Anaheim and Oakland.

And #3: Angeles over 91' (-115) Won't bet much, though.

Florida over 80' wins, did it at -115 at Intertops. This line has been climbing and most books have it at 81'. Marlins have good starting pitching, not sure about the pen though but they win 85 plus games this year.

agree with all here but 1:

dodgers UNDER - waaaay under for they are gonna truly suck this year (83 @ olympic - but @ -160 not gonna lay that juice - so at this price - pass - find better juice - like U82 - and that would be better).

this team is gonna blow!

padres will win the division so take them OVER 84

Alot of people have strong opinions on the Dodgers O/U. Should be interesting. If the Dodgers continue to pitch like they did in spring training, it could be a long year.

I like the Blue Jays over and I think they will actually beat out Boston for the Wild Card.

If the division bottom feeders weren't so bad I would take a look at Under Houston but the Pirates and Reds suck.

Too many people seem to think the Padres will have a good season. When everyone has the same "sleeper" it is never good news.

the last 4 or 5 years the diamond backs have destroyed the sox in spring training.

this year seems like a turn for the worse for arizona, and i know the white sox will be better.

Under 83½ on the Dodgers. I bet it early, now everyone is on it. The Dodgers poor pitching in spring training is no secret, total now down to 82 at some books. Nomo's fastball is in the mid-80's. Weaver is getting lit up, and no Kevin Brown. Gagne was 55-55 in save opportunities last year. Expect some blown saves this year.

Pirates Under 66½. Even though this team won 75 games last year expect big time drop off this year as Pirates have unloaded many key players from last year. They look to get rid of Kendall at anytime and when the Pirates are hoplessly out of it by the all-star break their ace Kris Benson will be sent packing.

Orioles UNDER 81.
No way do they go .500
this yr. Not in the best
division in baseball. Baltimore has
added some nice name players,
Lopez, Tejada....but their pitching staff
is absolute rubbish.

ORIOLES UNDER 81.
DODGERS UNDER 82 1/2

enjoy.
