This game has over written all over it. Neither team can stop the run and Miami is missing a few defensive players (Jenkins ineligible and Carter sent home).

I have this at different numbers (straight and teased) and the line is 62' right now.

Someone could score 50 points here. Miami's DB's could get burned bad. Luke Falk could eat their children if he wanted to.

According to Tim Brice of the National Weather Service Office in Santa Teresa, the weather for the Sun Bowl game will indeed be crappy.

From the El Paso Times:

Hyundai Sun Bowl forecast

On Saturday, the high temperature is forecast to be in the upper 40s, Brice said.

“The day will start of cloudy with a chance of rain showers in the morning,” Brice said.

The Hyundai Sun Bowl game featuring the Miami Hurricanes against the Washington State Cougars starts at noon.

“If you are going to the Sun Bowl, I would recommend dress warmly and be ready for some rain,” Brice said.

Brice said that the cold front might move into El Paso on Saturday night, but the Sun Bowl could have some snow if the front arrives earlier.
“There is a potential that toward the end of the game — if that cold front gets here ahead of schedule — the rain could turn to snow,” Brice said.

The forecast has a 70 percent chance of snow and the El Paso region could potentially get 3 to 7 inches of snow from Saturday night to Sunday, Brice said

Drivers should be aware for the potential for possible hazardous snowy driving conditions Saturday night, weather officials said. Residents should also make cold weather preparations for pipes, plants and pets. People also should check on senior citizens or others who might be vulnerable to the cold weather.

The low temperature Saturday night is forecast to be in the 20s, the NWS officials said.

Crappy is all they know about in Eastern Washington
It rains almost every day somewhere in the state, and
it rains plenty hard right there in Pullman.

It is more of a problem for the running game than it is
for quarterbacks and wide receivers. You just have to get
used to it.

Could be an advantage for WSU playing in their own element.

+1

Conan, it's ALWAYS a comfort to read your commentary and insight on the PAC-12.

I respect the hell out of you, and I hope your rehab is going well during this holiday season.

Are you playing the Cougars -2.5 in this game? :think2:

I've searched for your dedicated bowl thread, but must be blind since I can't find it.
Anyway, thanks for all you do for us here at the Rx! :toast:

Screaming OVER?
At least see how the field looks before you do that.
If it's mushy I'd pass. (har har har)

Someone should bring their shampoo. If it rains it will
be like taking a warm shower to WSU players.

Sounds good. Thanks. Got a final score prediction?

Not sure why the line dropped from 3 to 2' but the weather certainly favors Wash State. Still like the over with a lean to Wash State. Good Luck Everyone!

Good start on the over. 1st quarters can be painfully low in scoring in these bowls.

This is looking like an UNDER all the way. I realize there's a whole 2nd 1/2 to go, but both these offenses are sucking so far.
