I don't see any way you can back a team that was picked to win something like 6 games this year IN Toronto as 3.5 point favorites.

Not saying that backing Toronto is a must (I will be though), but I don't see any way you can bet on the Als.

I'm guessing you aren't betting on the Tampa Bay Rays this summer...

Ah, look Buck... I know you've watched enough of this game to know that Montreal only looks good because they're playing the crap teams in the East. Though I thought 6 was a low win total for the Als, they're not a .500 team. If they DO finish .500, it's because the East is just THAT much weaker than anyone else thought.

There's no way you can tell me that Montreal is really 6-7 pts better than Toronto is on a neutral field, which is what this line is implying.

Well they say home field is worth a FG and if Toronto is playing at home and not only giving up 3 points, but getting 3+ points, that has to say something.
If this game was in Montreal, there wouldn't be any doubt in my mind that the Als beat up on this Argo-not club. The fact that it's being played at the Rogers Center, might just propel Toronto to victory in this Crazy Football League (CFL) game.
I say stay clear of this one and prepare for week nine, binder twine!

I guess THAT'S how you can back Montreal. Geez Toronto is a mess.

The East is just brutal. Right now I would back ANY West team in a Grey Cup matchup with ANY East team. It will be a shame if there isn't a crossover this year.

No, what will be a shame is when 3rd place in the West is playing 4th place in the West in the final week of the regular season, where both teams are TRYING to lose to crossover.

3rd in the West means you're dead. 4th in the West means you're the favorite to win the East...

I don't know about favourite. Might be the best team, but if... say... Edmonton has to travel to Toronto, and then Montreal, on back to back weeks... while Montreal is waiting, I think they would still be a 4-7 point dog.
