The outfielder played 19 seasons in the majors, 12 of which were spent with the Twins. Said the 5-time All-Star and 9-time Gold Glove winner: "I still love the game, but time has taken a toll on me mentally and physically."

Very steady player throughout his career...Average was down this past season....Still helped the team with 22 HR`s and 81 RBI`s.

Career 277 hitter....Not bad.....I can see him being a batting coach for starters.....Then maybe a manager someday.

this guy is made for tv with his personality -- it would be a mistake for him to not take a national tv gig next year or soon after.

I think it all comes down to does he want to work. I believe he has a kid playing college sports and another should be either towards the end of high school or already in college.

He's definitely not inneed of an income
