Before seeing the actual lines today, I compared some pitching matchups and had came across Tor/Bal & Sea/TB games as potential Unders considering that those pitchers could (emphasize on bold italics) bring their A game and shut down the opposing offenses, whom aren't that explosive either.
What do you all think about those numbers?
Sea (J. Washburn) at TB (S. Kazmir) Under 8.5 -110
Tor (A. Burnett) at Bal (D. Cabrera) Under 8.5 -120
I realize that some of you may mention A.J. Burnett's road statistics (though, he pitched 7 innings against Baltimore just last month shutting them down & I just don't buy the road factor for tonight...).
Also, some would mention how TB's Scott Kazmir hasn't had many quality outings in recent games but Seattle's offense has been streaky & mostly anemic?
Yesterday, to give myself some credit, I played Hou (C. Sampson) at SF (N. Lowry) Under 8.5 -110 and it was an Under (SF winning 4-0).
Just wondering what people's thoughts are.
