Bowling Green -25 --Ball St. is giving up over 50 points per game on the road. BG is a team that will pour it on when they can. Expect them to do so Sat.

Memphis -23 --Another game that will get ugly quick. When Memphis beats Tulane (and they usually do) they hammer them. Only way Tulane gets the cover here is thru the back door.

Arkansas +13--Arkansas always plays Auburn tough. Before last year's loss to Auburn on the phanton holding call, Arkansas has won 3 of the last 4. Ark. lost it's most potent TD threat in PHillis, but will have Jr. D. Howard for a capable fill in.

Ark St. +12.5--ASU at home has been a good play the past two years. This is homecoming weekend for them. Getting a good value b/c of their beating last week in which MTSU QB went 30-34 and was unstoppable. Expect them to keep this one close.

Silver,
C'mon man. You gotta go with the goophers! The last time you went against them they crushed somebody. So maybe you're doing the right thing. :awesom:

I was at the ASU/MTSU game last week. My wife wanted me to take her to Nashville, so I threw in a football game for good measure. AState had 5 TOs and played absolutely horrible. And MTSU played the game of their life. Their QB could not miss (30-34). And their WR Wright caught everything. I think they've got some value this week too.

The Ark game is not my strongest play, but I think they will keep it inside the number. They've yet to be blown out, but if there's a team that could do it this year, it's Auburn. Tubby wants usually doesn't coach well vs. Ark. He's from a small town in Arkansas and wanted the job before they gave it to Nutt. He usually coaches very tight against the Hogs.
Either way, good luck to you. Have a good weekend.

Good Point!!

BTW it`s easy to see who`s in control of THAT house now!! Next thing you`ll be going shopping AARGH. on Sat., you have to maintain control. Yeah, like it helped me after 3 tries. Best of luck to you both.

IF you're gonna play the Hogs, I would wait until game time to post your wager. The entire world is going to be on Auburn today, and you may be able to get the Hogs at +14.....or more

Silver, Don't worry about that. My wife likes football almost as much as I do. And she doesn't want me in her way when she's on a shopping binge.
Sorry about the Gophers Sat. They looked bad. You had that game nailed..nice call.

Pete, I post those plays for feedback and discussion. I bet through a couple of locals, so I usually do put my bets in close to game time. 14 didn't matter the way the Hogs played Saturday. Oh well.

You win some, lose etc. I had MSU & Aub pegged but was way off on ASU. You were right there w/Ar St LW. How do you see them as a dog this wk? Mn. should bounce back in the friendly confines of the dome but laying 18 to Ill. w/it`s passing gm is iffy, the kind of tm that gives them fits. One of Mn. probs is they have no pass plays designed to get the ball to Maroney (1 comp), or Barber (2), no screens or swing passes to get them isolated one on one vs a LB. Just the tired old off tackle and the sweep. Maroney especially is a game breaker and needs to get the ball in the open more often. How`re the Hogs going to do @ home against the Dogs? Ga. seems to have found their rythem and less than a TD looks good to me. Best of luck. BTW hit my biggest bet of the yr Sun. w/Eagles & the under it was nice. For the first time in a long time did better in the NFL than college.

Ark St. is Jeckyl and Hyde. they're very unpredictable on the road. La Tech will air it out, and those teams sometimes bother the ASU defense. I'll probably stay away from them this week, but won't be surprised to see them win that one.
Arkansas is the same way. Very unpredictable. I think they'll have a tough time vs. Georgia, especially if Jones is gimpy. They're saying Hillis may be back this week, and that will be a big boost. But without him, and with Jones not quite 100%, they look suspect.
I think Minny just got caught in a down spot last week. they probably had their heads hung low from the prior week. I'm surprised they were as good as they were this year without khalik. I thought they'd be average. Hopefully, Illinois will be just what the dr. ordered to get them back on track.
