And I'm not saying the Bulls were not one of the best teams of all time - I'm just saying it's very hard to judge them - they won by default every year - just like when Dallas went out last year - SA won by default - total layup beating the Jazz and Cavs - I could sit here and tell you how great James, Williams and Boozer are - but their teams were about as good as the Jazz, Knicks and Pacers that the Bulls beat
seymour i respect your posts you are a good guy......jordan teams were unreal like i said earlier i saw the lakers of eary 70's i saw obvioulsy the teams of the 80's and i loved the laker teams with shaq and kobe...........but if michael ddint play third base for two years this team would've been an 8 peat

What about the 71 Bucks? Big O still in his prime, a young Lew Alcindor, Bobby Dandridge, Greg Smith and more. 66-16 and a championship.

i never remember a bad run with them............folks are always looking for the 'other team'.......VERY much like the pats this year all negativity at first it was indy that would beat them then pitt.......now we hear playoff stories about sd and jax..............sometimes the public hates a public team......and that works well for us

that espn list is a joke, must have been complied by a jordan fan. THe bulls were not that good, they were a doughnut, all had a hole in the midddle.
the nba.com list is much more realistic.

Not sure I would agree here. Most every team in the East had a center but the Bulls, yet they kept knocking them out. When you can win three titles with Bill Cartwright at the end of his career, and three more with Luc Longley, that means something.

Yep, about the level of competition.

The Bulls were great no doubt about it. They never did have the level of competition of the 80's Celtics or lakers. No way. They never had a great center but never had to. This team deserves to be way up there but I do not believe number 1. Top 5 but not 1. Merry Christmas to all!

Learn something new every day. Didn't know you had to have a dominant center to win in the NBA.
